Too much focus on the eyes so far…
I will admit that there are two different answers to this. I had one in mind when I chose the picture, and then realised there was an almost identical line in another song, meaning that song also fits the picture for exactly the same reasons as I have for the song I had in mind originally.
I’ll, therefore, accept either if the reason is right.

Clue time:
The song I originally thought of is a cover with John on vocals.
The song I realised later also worked with it for the same reason is a post-Pepper Paul piano song.
The phrase I have in mind is different in both songs, but has roughly the same meaning.
