Match The Word With The Solo Song | Fab Forum | The Beatles Bible

This is a version of a game started by @50yearslate, Match The Word With The Beatles Song. Since there were objections to allowing solo songs, we have decided to start a separate thread. 

Here are 50yearslate’s original rules from the other thread, adapted for this one:

Basically, Person 1 will choose a (preferably uncommon) word that is in more than one solo song, and other people will try to guess the song. If they guess a song that contains the word but isn’t the song Person 1 was thinking of, then Person 1 will give a hint (such as “it’s a John song” “it’s post-1970 ” etc.) When somebody guesses the song correctly, it is then their turn to choose a song.

Some guidelines for choosing a word: Non-canon songs are okay, but please try to make sure your word is in more than one solo song to keep the game going. Also, please avoid unmemorable and overly common words such as “it” “she” “and” “love” etc. 

The word has to be the exact word specified; no variations. So if the word is “change” then “changed” and “changing” wouldn’t count.

Sorry if the rules are unclear, but yes, you’re supposed to add a clue every time, like the 10 Hint Beatles Song Challenge.

Also, please copy a list of the previously used words (like in the Beatles version) so we don’t repeat.

We may end up having to specify who’s song it is at the beginning if it’s too hard otherwise, but for now we’ll keep the same format as the Beatles version.
