Perhaps we alternate songs after running out of verses by then starting another song from which the line was correctly guessed, that will add some rigour to the proceedings in which we are engaged. Or, to drop out of Ducreux-speak for a moment, we guess lines and the correct guesser does a stanza from a song and when that song is finished, the next correct guesser starts a new song stanza from the guess they just correctly guessed, is that more or less clear it isn’t is it aaagh.
