@Ron Nasty:
I have “Like Dreamers Do ” on my hard disk, in what I call my “personal anthology” of The Beatles; I was sure that I had copied it from the BBC disks… After you wrote that it wasn’t part of the BBC recordings, I checked and read what you just wrote. And yes, the obvious lie is number two. Your turn.

I’m happy for someone else to run with it. Feeling a little brain dead this week.

You sure that’s not where the whole trip will be?
3?
Freud’s theories are crazy like the whole Oedipus complex and the fact that his theories don’t account for situations where the child grows up with out both a man and women adult in the house.

2 is the lie. I went there on my last trip to London, and I don’t want to spend time going to it again.
Someone else take a turn.

I’ll do it, if I may.
- I’ve read most of what Philip K. Dick wrote
- I’ve read most of Isaac Asimov wrote
- I’ve read most of J.G. Ballard wrote

Number 2 Me thinks
Well spotted, @chrisredditch. Ballard and Dick have something in common: they are less “scientific” in their fiction, more surrealist, bizarre, crazy. In fact I dislike Asimov –who thought SCI-FI was a vehicle to divulge science among the masses. Your turn.

If #3 is true, @parlance will want to know all about it.
I’ll pick 2 as the lie.

Spot on Oudis have another one.
Backbeat – I met Martin Gore walking through Manchester when we were up there for a Depeche Mode concert. Totally random moment.
As I was mates with Debbie Bonham, I was invited to her 18th birthday party. Other guests were John Bonham and Robert Plant. I met Robert briefly and he signed the back of my cheque book.
Never met Simon Le Bon in my life…..Well not yet.
The Beatles are English - They have influences from all over - but they are English

Alas! One week has passed and nobody seems to be interested in my little puzzle. Come on, lads and lassies, it’s a Beatle question! Which one is the lie?
