Sweet!
Allright, let me think here…
- The show I have been watching lately on Netflix is “The Killing”.
- I went shopping tonight at Forever21.
- My favourite actor is Tom Hanks.
"Please don't bring your banjo back, I know where it's been.. I wasn't hardly gone a day, when it became the scene.. Banjos! Banjos! All the time, I can't forget that tune.. and if I ever see another banjo, I'm going out and buy a big balloon!"

Nailed it. Well done.
I have actually been watching a s**t ton of “Trailer Park Boys “, made it to the 8th season already. Honestly I haven’t been too impressed with what this country has put out as far as TV shows go over the years, this is by far the best.

Thanks. Here I go:
1) I drink several cups of coffee a day
2) I smoke a cigar every evening
3) The movie that made me take guitar lessons was Sting’s 1985 Bring on the Night

I’ll go for #1.
And the winner is @meanmistermustard! I just drink one cup of coffee a day, in the mornings (more would make me jittery). I do smoke one cigar a day, every evening. And Bring on the Night made me want to learn jazzier chords.

I’m better at this than i want to be.
Right. 3 options and one needs to be a lie, not one needs to be true. I’m always getting that the wrong way round.
Ok and exciting options they are too.
- I’ve sat and passed an HNC in Business Studies.
- I’ve sat and passed an HNC in Web Design.
- I’ve sat and passed an HNC in Child Care.

EDIT: now I got it backwards.I think one is true.
I am with AD40 on 3 being the lie. If so, she goes next.

One is the lie. I took the Business Studies course in 1998 and hated it with a passion, being utterly bored for the entire duration. It was a year long course but i ended up never attending.
One story is that during term time i ditched classes and went to Liverpool with my brother to stay with my oldest brother who stayed there. I lived off the student funding money but they stopped it due to lack of attendance so I had to get the brother i traveled down with to phone up the college and tell them i hadn’t been in due to an ongoing family emergence, hearing that the money was promptly paid into my bank account. So instead of sitting in a classroom wishing i was dead i was wandering around Liverpool for 10 days, sight-seeing during the day, out on the town at night. One of my few wild times – teenage John would have been proud.
After that long-winded narrative it’s @Mr. Kite’s go.

Is that Higher Scots for a prolonged birth?

Its quite often the case that if you claim you have a family emergency you are never asked asked any more details, well certainly in Scotland as we really don’t want to know the details. So its just a general vague excuse to get out of anything; if questioned you have ready details depending on how long you are going to be gone.
