I thought I made it hard. The first 3 were only 38 months apart, and all 4 are 4y11m apart, so the values were very close.
My poor wife was pregnant or nursing most of 6 years straight! I am proud to say I did (I think) more than the average father, not shying away from stinky diapers even when we had 3 in them, baths, dressing, bedtime, meals, etc. Our first was 6 weeks preemie and we both had to get up every 3 hours to feed/make more milk for next time (he was too weak to nurse, even to take a normal bottle nipple). By the time the 3rd was 6 mos. we were both working from home, so that made things much easier (all that laundry could be done throughout the day). There was the time her whole (large) family was visiting their cousin, and 4 of the 5 of us got the 24 hour flu within 48 hours. Then the time we passed strep around for 2 mos. until we finally all went to the doctor on the same day. But all parents have their war stories.
Half of what I say is totally irrelevant…
