Richard Starkey, born 7/7/1940, was born again as Ringo Starr somewhere between March (when he played his first gig with Rory) and summer 1959.

What instrument(s) did he play when he joined Rory’s band?

He played the stethoscope and the forceps. He had a great deal of experience with these instruments; however, as Rory and the Hurricanes had no use for this unorthodox talent, he soon abandoned them and picked up drums instead, because it was the only thing he could do.

What is Richard Starkey’s middle name?

Kate (which is the short for Bob).

How old was Ringo the day before he was born?

He was only 16, only 16…

How old was he the day after?

Burgundy – which was a major instigator in the Paul eat himself to death in India conspiracy rumours.

What sport did John and Paul beat George and Ringo at whilst in Greece looking for an island to turn into a state of the art recording studio?

Bird-pulling.

In what manner, and with what method, did the Beatles waste their time?

A happy jovial manner where they would paint individual pieces of grass any colour except red.

Before the invention of the TV in 1967 what did the Beatles do if they wanted to watch themselves on a TV show?

I Saw Her Standing There (then he caught sight of Paul standing there)

This curious coincidence has been great fodder for McLennoners over the years.

Is it true that red is the colour that will make John, Paul, and George (all at the same time) blue?

No, they are all color blind. Ringo is the one who would become blue if the girl wears red. The song was written for him to sing, but he just kept choking up.

What is the title of the novel the paperback writer is working on?

Julian Lennon. Little did anyone know that John Lennon ‘s song Paperback Writer was semi-autobiographical.

In the song Because , what turned the Beatles on?

Anything For Love But He Won’t Do That.

Going on the principle that x equals the square root of y – (z – 9 + a/b) where z = (y – z)³, how many fingers does George use to play guitar on ‘All My Loving ‘?

Eight. One for each day of the week, including Sitarday.

If Paul had made it with Rita, what would have happened next?

She would have auctioned it off and moved to Prague on the proceeds.

Where did John want to take you down to in ‘Strawberry Fields Forever ‘?

What is the one household product that the Beatles have not made an officially-licensed version of?
