It was his subtle way of saying that he didn’t care for George Martin’s footwear.
What’s the name of the hockey arena where the Beatles played all their Toronto concerts in 1964, ’65 and ’66?

Bernard Purdie was the main influence. You can hear it very clearly on 21 Beatles songs as Ringo was so in awe he insisted that Bernard took over the drumming.
Why was it ‘Penny Lane ‘ and not ‘Shilling Street’?

There were no barbers on Shilling Street – just a haberdasher, a grocer and a used car lot.
“In Shilling Steet the haberdasher fits another customer, we see the grocer sitting waiting for an alteration. And the used car salesman rushes in from the pouring rain. Very strange.”
Yeah – they made the right call.

Not an answer, just a comment. I want Poundworld and Poundland stores to be called Quidworld and Quidland.

Strange place to add that @Ahhh Girl. I dont like the word Quid however, sounds cheap and grubby.

Eggy. It was meant to be Iggy but there was a problem at the christening where the vicar read out the wrong name. It worked out well tho as along with the suitcase of beans Ringo took a caseload of Eggy’s eggs to India in 1968, not trusting the eggs there. That turned into successful business for Ringo after the Beatles split. Eggy has a history of influence in the Beatles timeline (eg ‘Scrambled Eggs’).
Why did Paul and John demand the listener to tell them what he/she saw in the song ‘Tell Me What You See ‘?

What holiday did the Beatles commemorate by making special Christmas recordings for their fan club members?

‘Death and Taxes & Rubber Soul ‘s’. One of their poorer efforts (no one cared for Ringo’s mournful Latino-pastiche rendition of ‘I Need A Dollar’) and so to save time saying it it was shorted to ‘Rubber Soul ‘.

Well, after John left the band in August 1969, Paul nominated Linda as manager. Linda then wanted to make them all vegetarians as an “image change,” and George and Ringo weren’t happy about this, so they broke up.
Where did John hide the gold?
