Which Beatle was most loved by children?
Well, a survey of young children illustrated that they appreciated Paul for his effortless subtle-yet-supple melodicism; George for his spiritual yearnings tempered by bone-dry wit; and John for his relentless, nakedly honest self-examination…but liked Ringo most because he had the funniest name; and mostly because he earned his living by hitting things with sticks.
What did young children dislike the most about the Beatles?

Nothing – the laws of Christendom required that they observe the day of rest by sitting silent and still all afternoon, so they did that (while dreaming of the day that someone would invent the electric guitar).

It was John’s way of letting know his good old fella Paul McCartntree that, in spite of all their fusses and fights and all that jazz, he still remembered him and was beside him.
What was Paul’s reaction to that cover?

Dear Mr. Harrison,
Enclosed please find one (1) copy of The Harry and Eddie Band’s debut single, an “answer record” entitled “Trousers”. We hope you find it “fab”!
Sincerely,
Harold Wilson – Edward Heath
