Multiple questions about the Jones family income. What did Desmond sell from his barrow? How much money did he make per year? Did Molly make more or less than Desmond as the singer with the band? What was their yearly income in total? Did their combined income cover their needs or did they receive any welfare assistance such as food stamps?
1. “Special” imported biscuits, made with herbs native to Japan: banned there, little known elsewhere.
2. Ten of your earth dollars. (But George Harrison allegedly paid his mortgage for him.)
3. Molly made slightly more, including tips. She supplemented her income by pawning off her fingers one by one. You see where this is going…
4. Their yearly income was enough to cover their basic needs, with an annual 13-day vacation to Pepperland , college fund for the kids, all that. Plus at least one 20 karat ring, which was later pawned for ten fingers and a new Xbox.
5. The loving couple (and their eventual kids, and grandkids) rarely had to rely on government assistance, since Paul McCartney granted them 97.5% of all the ObLaDi publishing, mechanical and performance rights, including on all the various Beatles recording attempts. He was inspired to write the entire song after offhandedly witnessing George telling Yoko “I like your face,” while apparently gesturing towards two biscuit crumbs perched on her eyelash and brow; and by her plucking them away with a newly ringed finger.
Which song was Frank Sinatra politely requested not to cover? why? and which alternate did he choose?

He was told not to cover Don’t Bother Me – George didn’t want the copyright agencies bothering him. He instead covered Yesterday , just like all the other musicians.
All 4 Beatles famous had a ‘moptop’ haircut. But who gave the mop its haircut?

Lucy is still flying to this day, as are her diamonds. The sky, however, landed long ago.

Biscuits & Tea
Mal on spoons. Pete on washboard because Martin*, who produced the double B side, wouldn’t let Pete eat near a drum kit. One side has Yoko singing the word biscuit in all the different ways she can think of doing it. The flipside has her doing the same thing with the word tea. Come on everybody sing it with Yoko T – E – Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!
* poor George losing that bet and getting himself into that mess

The nickname Boogaloo was given to George Martin as he very much liked to Boogie along, so much so that it was All Too Much for Ringo and wanted GM to back off.

John basically guilt-tripped her, saying “With all due respect, I’m really disappointed in you, Ma’am, you used to be cool! And after I wrote “Dizzy Miss Lizzie” for you…I’ll bet Their Majesties Queen Victoria or Princess Margaret wouldn’t react in such a fashion!” To which the Queen, with equal parts compassion, competitiveness and need-to-be-hip -ness, had a change of heart; and instead of accepting the medallion’s return, she ended up buying 30,000 copies of “Cold Turkey ” for herself to distribute to friends and dignitaries, propelling it back up the chart to peak at #7. In gratitude, John presented her with a dozen extra-large packages of George’s special biscuits, with a caution against eating more than two at one time. (For her part, Elizabeth later confessed that while she didn’t much care for the a-side, she absolutely adored “Don’t Worry Kyoko” on the b-side, particularly after a few biscuit-nibbles.)
After this episode, she later recorded an album of herself covering a dozen of her favourite Beatles classics. What was the album titled?

Her Majesty (literally!) Contains some classic reworkings such as “One Would Like To Hold Her Husband’s Hand” , “A Hard Day’s Knighthood”, “Across The Commonwealth” and my personal favourite “Buckingham Wood (This Corgi Has Departed) ” .
Originally, All Things Must Pass was going to be a quadruple record set. What were the contents of this rejected fourth disc?

This side long epic contained at least 10 minutes of moaning and groaning. It had to scrapped when John threatened plagiarism off the ending of Cold Turkey .
Why didn’t Cold Turkey become the Thanksgiving holiday classic John and Yoko expected it to?

Sad to say, the record-buying public in those days just weren’t interested in a disc consisting mostly of Yoko making gobbling sounds and chanting “John, Johhhhnn, so cold, so cold” to the accompaniment of John chopping up his guitar and amplifier with an axe. It wasn’t until 1974, when it was re-released to coincide with Guy Fawkes Day, and packaged with promotional firecrackers, that the public really began to buy the record – mostly so they could blow it up.
What scene was cut from “A Hard Day’s Night ” before release?
