Sitcom debuted February 31, 1966 and was called “Be At ‘Le Wife!'” The premise: Pattie is bored, with nothing to do while George is in the studio, so she joins the equally bored Cynthia and Maureen and Lady George in opening up “Le Wife”, a social club aimed at bored rock star wives, where they can drink gin and tonics and exchange gossip and witty repartee for thirty minutes weekly. A running joke was the establishment’s huge gin intake, with a different weekly celebrity  (usually a rock star, but occasionally an esteemed actor such as Sir Lawrence Olivier) delivering a huge amount of gin and a one-liner about size of said amount. And although J&G did appear as the anonymous delivery men on the first series finale (and completely forgot their lines), for the run of the series their parts were played by the tiger from “Help !” (Sir George) and the London Symphony Orchestra (John, although Ron Nasty played the role in the pilot before recasting)

One of Paul’s best loved Beatles songs was actually written and performed and recorded live on the show by Paul himself, in between filming and makeup and rewriting and learning new dialogue, whatta pro! Which song and how did it fit into this classic episode’s plot?

Ashe. They were massive tennis fans.

In 1978 the road made famous in the Beatles song ‘The Long And Winding Road (“We’ve spent days on this bloody road!!!!)” was demoted by the Transport Secretary personally. What replaced it, who wrote the propaganda song about it, and what was the reaction from George?

It was replaced by the B417, Ringo wrote the song ‘Does the B417 lead to Devon?’, and George’s reaction was:

No Ringo. Just No.

Who decided it was a great idea for the Beatles to go to the Budokan?

Smiles.

Why did Stuart stay in Hamburg instead of going back to Liverpool with the rest of the Beatles?

They were brother and sister, the children of Paul’s 1967 Martin D-28 guitar, their mother. (Father is unknown; please ask Dark Overlord to research further.)

What happens narratively during “Norwegian Woods instrumental break, and why was the unusual instrument chosen to convey it?

John often incorporated the names of TV shows into his songs – see, for example, “Good Morning, Good Morning”: It’s time for tea and “Meet the Wife,” an afternoon soap opera.  Here, the break comes right after she says, “It’s time for ‘Bed,'” this being a popular night time show where contestants would sit on a bed and guess what unusual instrument it was they were listening to.  After the show was over, they went to sleep.

An unreleased song from 1964 was written to complete a “Why” trilogy: “Ask Me Why ,” “Tell Me Why ,” and this song.  What was the name of it?  And why was it never released?

Why my guitar gently weeps? It was never released in 1964 but it was , indeed, released in 1965 o’clock as the “C” side to their triple sided single from that very same year.
What other songs were included in that single?

‘Isn’t It A Pita’ was written in the gyro 1966. It was slated for the still unreleased Harrison solo project titled It’s All Greek To Me. Other tracks on the album included ‘Beware of Dolmades’, ‘Behind That Lavraki’ and ‘The Ballad Of Saganaki (Let It Rolo Kima)’.

Why was the album never released?

Richard Starkey is the real name of which Beatle? Why did he change his name?

Rick Stark.  He changed his name due to some bureaucratic nonsense that forced every British person to have a two-syllable name.  Time is money, y’see.

Why no Anthology 5 album?

Because it is taking forever, with no end in sight, to print the label for it’s predecessor, Anthology Pi

While in Rishikesh, Maharishi and John went for a ride in a helicopter. Where did they go?

To visit Vera, Chuck, and Dave. They were missing them terribly.

Multiple questions about the Jones family income. What did Desmond sell from his barrow? How much money did he make per year? Did Molly make more or less than Desmond as the singer with the band? What was their yearly income in total? Did their combined income cover their needs or did they receive any welfare assistance such as food stamps?
