The letter went back slightly too far in time and reached The Marvelettes, who were subsequently inspired to record “Please Mr. Postman”. It’s all a rich tapestry.
“Tomorrow Never Knows“…what, exactly?
She wouldn’t say. It said something wrong, now it longs for Yesterday And Today…
What did Tomorrow say to her? And who was she?

She wouldn’t say that, either. All we know is that She’s A Woman .

How did the song change between 1968 and 78, and how did Yoko effect these changes?

In 68 the song was titled “Not guilty”, in 78 the title was “Not so Not guilty”.
The song, originally, was titled Not guilty because that’s how Yoko declared herself after been caught eating half a dozen of George’s biscuits. After watching the video recordings of that evening over and over for ten years it was pretty obvious that she might have been involved in the incident.
In the song “Sun king” where was the sun King coming from? And why were everybody laughing?

The Sun King was a standup comic popular for a year or so. His gimmick was performing Tiny Tim styled ukulele covers of Paul’s and George’s songs while dressed hair to toe in Yoko disguise. He was originally part of a duo act with his twin brother The Smin King, but the act fell apart due to the latter’s debilitating gin habit. Anyways, they were laughing with delight at the close of his final show at the Albert Hall, when Yoko herself joined him onstage for a singalong duet of (at her suggestion) “Folsom Prison Blues”, to which she improvised a few “John, Johhhhnn”s but otherwise sang mostly straight. It was pretty funny.
Why couldn’t George Martin play Ringo’s one-chord organ part in “I’m Looking Through You “?

It was a left-handed organ part, and Martin was right-handed. Also he’d shut a car door on his fingers that morning.

One day a bored John slammed a car door on George (the 5th Beatle) Martin’s fingers. Tired of the Beatles’ thinking they can get away with anything, he finally vents his frustration: YOU BEATLES! YOU THINK YOU – (looks down at rapidly swelling fingers) (mutters under his breath: My God ! My fingers are-) (feels sharp pain) ARE BIGGER THAN!! (loses control) JEE-SUS!!! (regains control) (looks up from hand) Oh. Hi Maureen! What’s that you’re writing down?
Fortunately, the Maureen in question was Ringo’s wife. What was she writing? And what song did her words inspire?

Maureen was writing down a transcript of the events, as she thought it might make a good synopsis for an episode of the sitcom she was writing based around The Beatles’ studio life. The words did not inspire the lyrics to a Beatles song, but those of one her husband Ringo’s future songs Oo-Wee, as Sir George also let out an “OO-WEE!” after John slammed his fingers in the car door.
What was the name of Maureen’s sitcom, and who ended up playing the parts of John and Sir George?
