Whose life was played out in ‘A Day In The Life ‘?

Jesus. The Beatles were secretly a Christian rock band, hence the “Christ is risen” rumors spread by the tabloids.

How did Sir Bingo Star react upon hearing that he would be knighted?

He celebrated so hard he didn’t realise N43 had been called, robbing him of the jackpot money.

The Beatles wrote a song about toilet humour. What was the song called, and when did Apple say they would release it by?

Pooball fight, recorded on 13/1/1969. When John asked Apple when they’d release it they sang “that’ll be the day, yes that’ll be the day, well that’ll be the day when i die”.

What song did they sing?

If you're reading this, you are looking for something to do.

Trick question: The song in question was “Back In The USSR “; however, in Soviet Russia, song sings YOU!!

In Hamburg, the Beatles were encouraged by Bruno Koschmider to “Mach schau!!” What does this mean?

“Mach schau” means to make a show. One particular evening, The Beatles forgot their instruments and so Koschmider shouted at them to improvise and “mach schau” for the growing impatient audience. They ended up doing shadow puppets on the wall, and a good time was had by all.

Why were plans to remake the Schwarzenegger film Kindergarten Cop with George Harrison as  the lead role cancelled?

No matter how hard he tried to pull it off, George’s Austrian accent left a lot to be desired.

Once the remake was scrapped which Harrison song, written specifically for the film, never saw the light of day?

“Kinfauns Garden Cop”. The scrapping of the song was particularly unfortunate because an elaborate promotional video was filmed on the estate of George’s old home, featuring George as a bullhorn-wielding police negotiator trying to persuade Yoko to give herself up after barricading herself in one of his treehouses with a dozen packets of purloined biscuits.

In the “Yellow Submarine ” animated feature, what character was voiced by Brian Epstein?

He got temporarily blind so whenever he wanted to say something to Paul he talked to Ringo, whenever he wanted to say something to George he talked to Paul, and whenever he wanted to say something to Ringo he talked to Yoko. It was , temporarily, quite fun.

What famous incident happened to them while they were recording the swahili version of “Thank You Girl “?

Famous? Man, it may be famous to you, but I haven’t heard about anything more serious than Paul forgetting the lyrics for one take of the Swahili version of Thank You Girl … But I’ll take a guess, and say ‘Brian Epstein debuted as a musician, playing triangle’?

Roll Over Beethoven “. Ringo took a tape recording of one of the Beatles’ Star Club sets to present to Ludwig himself in 1812 Vienna and get his professional opinion. The composer was apparently thrilled enough to immediately begin taking electric guitar lessons – Ringo having thoughtfully traveled with the gift of a Rickenbacker and foot-pedal-powered amplifier – and soon after persuaded his best frenemy Tchaikovsky to take up drums.

The Beatles invited Beethoven himself to play on the track, but he respectfully declined. Why?

Salvador Dali, who together with Yoko co-created “Arm Chair Piece 1965” – a recliner made entirely of realistic-looking foam rubber disembodied arms: You can get comfy in it, have an arm to hold a book, your ashtray, your biscuits, your tea (or coffee!), all while being held yourself. Only £8750 (while supplies last).

The chair was set to make its world debut in the Beatles film “16 Arms To Hold You” but disaster occurred and the script was rewritten and retitled. What happened?

The chair came to life and went on a mass biscuit eating spree. Dali and Yoko had to pay an imaginary five shillings (funded by John) worth of damage.

In which Beatles movie does Pete Best play Ringo’s stunt double?

Eight Days A Week : The Touring Years. Pete was Ringo the WHOLE TIME.

One time in 1967 Martha (Paul’s dog, of course) wandered into the studio. What unreleased song did the pup record while she was there?

It was a follow up to ‘I Don’t Want To Spoil The Party ‘ called ‘I don’t want to pee the carpet’… it was so damn good a song that Paul never allowed it to be released.

What did Paul do to not allow the song to be released?
