Paul complained about blisters on his feet after not wear shoes during the Abbey Road photo shoot. No one had any sympathy for him. After all, it was HIS decision to kick his shoe off. Silly boy.

OK. Now someone can answer Necko’s question: “Which Beatle tried his or her hand at stand up comedy? What was the result? “

J.P. “Shecky” McCartney performed a stand up set during open mic night at an Atlantic City hotel after their concert in August 1964. Taking the term entirely too literally, he did a 15 minute bit about standing up. Even the crickets were stunned into an awkward silence.

Which Beatle was the best athlete and what was his sport of choice?

Ever since he gave up on these stupid bewks, Ringo was quite good at marching. From all the parading, y’know.a-hard-days-night-george-10

John’s famous words on the Apple rooftop in which he expresses his hope that the audience judges them mildly and lets them pass the audition are well-known. However, not many know what the crowd actually answered to John’s sentence. Was the audience convinced by their overall performance and let them pass and with which words did they express their opinion?

Not once does the diversity seem forced -- the genius of the record is how the vaudevillian "When I'm 64" seems like a logical extension of "Within You Without You" and how it provides a gateway to the chiming guitars of "Lovely Rita. - Stephen T. Erlewine on Sgt Pepper's

An unfortunate typesetting snafu resulted in the inaugural issue of Beatles Mothly. Never wasting an opportunity to cash in, the club president came up with an idea for a new product.

Your own face. The cardboard was treated with a substance that turns super-reflective after being treated with vinegar, this being the ultimate solution to the Beatles’ plan to top the SPLHCB cover by issuing a multitude of covers picturing every individual Beatles fan.

How did this plan go disastrously wrong on at least one occasion?

John. Ed Sullivan himself, a good guitar player, popped on a wig and nobody could tell the difference!

What song(s) did they perform with Ed at the lead, and what did John do when he saw Ed in his place?

Old Brown Really Big Shoe.

Since Ed imitated John, John tried the ultimate payback by kissing Topo Gigio good night.

Brian Epstein and Andrew Loog Oldham almost completed a trade between the Beatles and Rolling Stones.  Who was being traded for who and how would it have affected their upcoming albums?

The deal was intended to be a straight up (Keith) Richard-for-Richard (Starkey) trade, but George scuttled the deal by insisting that Oldham throw in a packet of biscuits as well.

What is the name of the 1972 Linda McCartney – Yoko Ono collaborative EP wherein they cover “The Lovely Linda “, “Oh Yoko” and other songs about themselves written by their husbands? What instruments do they contribute?

The EP was titled Behind Every Good Man…

Linda played a traditional instrument, albeit just a simple tambourine. Ever the avant gardeist, Yoko played left shoelace on a few tracks and also performed a killer pocket lint solo on ‘Long Haired Lady’. yoko-ono_01

Which former Brian Epstein underling went on to manage The Rolling Stones and how did that come about?

Gerry Marsden. He wanted to clean up the Stones’s image into something similar to The Pacemakers, so he helped Mick and Keef write their next hit songs, including “Ferry Cross The Harlem Shuffle”, and “Don’t Let The Honky Tonk Sun Catch You Crying”.
