John Lennon : The Animated Series (a spinoff from the original Beatles cartoon). George only got a cameo in revenge for barely mentioning John in his autobiography.

Paul himself. The book is about when Aunty Gin went to visit the McCartneys and rang the doorbell, but Paul and Linda started singing Let ‘Em In and were too busy singing to answer it. By the time they’d stopped, she had given up and gone back home.
Why did Paul pretend George wrote the book instead, and what was the consequence of this?

Paul had always wanted to be a Paperback Writer , but after the massive failure of his first book, In His Own Wrong, he was reluctant to put his name out there again. George was on the outs with the boys at that time, after Mal discovered him carrying pictures of Chairman Mao, so Paul decided to pen the book under George’s name in case it was a flop. The book, titled Crippled Inside , became a critically lauded best seller, helping George to launch a secondary career as a science fiction author. Auntie Gin successfully sued both George and Paul for defamation; George parlayed the fiasco into the top 10 hit “Why Does Everyone Keep Suing Me?” while Paul died penniless in Nineteen Hundred And Eighty Five .

The Beatless Brothers, Juggy and JoJo, were costumed performing mascots for Paul’s “Beat-Free Monday” campaign, which sought to limit the amount of beats in contemporary music. Juggy had black skin and a huge dyed white Afro, and wore a white 3 piece suit with a black tie and black shoes; Jojo was the same but with blacks and whites reversed (skin/hair included). One of them would carry around a parade drum with the skins removed, and the other would try to throw a basketball through the empty frame. Paul insisted they be present in the studio for every Beatles recording made without percussion – ironically enough, since they were closest to Ringo personally. (They were all HUGE ring aficionados!)

Mr. Kite claimed that Henry the Horse violated the terms of his contract, in letter if not spirit, by dancing the Charleston, the boot-scoot and the electric slide at Mr. Kite’s benefit, rather than the promised waltz. Henry countersued in turn, claiming that that the contract had already been de facto voided since Mr. Kite had only undertaken seven somersets, instead of the promised ten, none of them on solid ground.

Beatlebug, SgtPeppersBulldog, vonbonteeNot once does the diversity seem forced -- the genius of the record is how the vaudevillian "When I'm 64" seems like a logical extension of "Within You Without You" and how it provides a gateway to the chiming guitars of "Lovely Rita. - Stephen T.
