Trick question. Ringo forged Julian’s handwriting, and made him give John this:

Did John end up writing a song for Ringo because of this, or not?

Ringo tried to write one by himself, but he realized that:

so he wrote just “naaaa na nana nanana nanaaaaa…” which later became the last bit of Hey Jude .

Which were other Richie’s contributions to other Beatles hits?

Ever since Paul had tried honey for the first time (this happened during the recording for A Taste Of Honey where Paul insisted that he had to convince himself that honey really tasted sweeter than wine first before he could deliver a satisfying vocal performance, so he tried both and preferred the honey), he couldn’t get enough of it and always needed a bellyful. This resulted in awkward situations like his twenty-first birthday party where Paul beat up a DJ because the latter had talked about a ‘honeymoon’ and as Paul enthusiastically asked him where he could find such a moon, it turned out the DJ couldn’t tell him. Several well-known songs like Honey Don’t , Wild Honey Pie , and Honey Pie also come from this mysterious addiction.

After constant teasing from his bandmates, however, Paul began to deny his appreciation for honey and even claimed he had liked the taste of wine better in the first place. This denial had its climax in the lyrics to ‘Her Majesty ‘ where he seriously tried to claim, he needed a ‘bellyful of wine‘! Nice try, but we all know ‘Honey Hush’… ya can’t fool us, Paul!a-hard-days-night-george-10

What odd addictions did the other Beatles have?

Not once does the diversity seem forced -- the genius of the record is how the vaudevillian "When I'm 64" seems like a logical extension of "Within You Without You" and how it provides a gateway to the chiming guitars of "Lovely Rita. - Stephen T. Erlewine on Sgt Pepper's

All of them, since no one could be sure if anyone actually played anything like normal guitars and drums.

Ringo, under the alias Ron Starrham. He was the lead member of the All – Starr Plastic Ono Jefferson Air Force Doo-Dah Band Experience, although they only ever performed one Led Zeppelin song.
