Offline The vocals were recorded by John shortly after that 70s interview where he said he would like to go back and redo a lot of the Beatles songs. He time travelled back a decade to suggest to his younger self and the other Beatles to rerecord the song, but because he had travelled back, all his dialogue was in reverse.
