Don’t blame her since it was not her… it was just her mind that was confusing things.

(If this wasn’t a Beatles forum, I would have probably answered: I don’t know, she was really drunk at the time.

Although it’s kinda related because a Wings member said this on DSOTM… Oh well.)

What does ‘Love You To ‘ Mean?

Not once does the diversity seem forced -- the genius of the record is how the vaudevillian "When I'm 64" seems like a logical extension of "Within You Without You" and how it provides a gateway to the chiming guitars of "Lovely Rita. - Stephen T. Erlewine on Sgt Pepper's

exactly, and this place seems kinda like a PF forum sometimes anyways

What does ‘Love You To ‘ Mean?

It’s a clever pun about the love of duality and specifically the number 2 and the words two/too/to. “Love you two!” “Love you, too!” [“Can i screw you in the ground?”] “Love You To !” George went with the two-lettered spelling, most appropriately.

What does “I Want To Hold Your Hand ” mean?

Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

Sminking of linking.

What is Long, Long, Long in the song “Long, Long, Long “? And why did George call it like that if it last barely 3 min.?

It wasn’t something of George’s, it was Paul’s…

Fender Jazz Bass because basses have a longer scale length than guitars and jazz songs are typically longer than rock songs.

Why did George choose to use a Fender guitar on Nowhere Man ?

No one really knows, some say that they were an unpopular rock band that broke up in 1961 after their bassist Paul McCartney died, others say they were a group of session musicians who were unable to speak consisting of John on guitar, George on guitar, Paul on guitar, and Ringo on drums, Les Paul claims that they were the session musicians who sang the ahhhs on A Day In The Life , Elvis Presley claims that they are mental patients who dream of being talented musicians, James Brown says they’re construction workers and that Richie bangs too hard on the nails, no one knows.

Why did George Martin demand that Decca records signed them or else he was quitting his job to become a waiter at The Cavern Club?

His senses were affected by a slight disorder of the stomach, causing hallucinations. Thankfully, that night he was visited by the ghosts of three Producers – Past, Present and Zero Mostel. After hours of showing him how different things would have been otherwise, they were finally able to convince him that The Cavern Club did not employ waiters.

They rush into the next Barber’s shop as fast as they can, slam the door behind them,  and generally act in a way that can only appropriately be described with the words ‘very strange’.

When the taxman does appear.
Why did George write a song about Mr. Wilson and Mr. Heath?

Wilson and Heath met G and proposed that George write an antitax song for all the people who, like George, hate paying taxes, convinced it would be extremely popular among folks who hate to pay taxes, like George. And indeed it was and the Beatles sold many records and George earned much money in songwriting royalties, after which he had to pay enormous amounts of taxes. Capitalism!

Which Beatle am I thinking about RIGHT NOW?

They were afraid it could be interpreted as a PID clue because if you take the acronym ‘ehtoy’, replace e with d, h with e, t with a, o with d, and cross out the y it reads ‘dead’.

Why did the Beatles decide to go with a humming choir instead of a crashing piano chord at the end of The Day After Life?

Because they heard that choir singing O Fortuna from Carmina Burana The Night Before , and loved them so much that they wanted to include that choir.

Who was this fabled choir?

That would be Mrs. Edmunds’ Third Grade Primary Class and Carl Orff Singers, informally known as the Orffans.

They specialized in Carmina Burana, Catula Carmini, and recess.
