Making some alternate history, she’s going to claim that instead of her breaking The Beatles up in 1970, it was Paul.

What is the name of the 27 minute song The Beatles released in 1967?

Carnival Of Dark. The song consists of all four Beatles muttering, searching for their instruments and bumping into each other in the dark after a power cut had occurred.

How exactly did George Martin and Geoff Emerick record this if there was no power?

There was power, George Martin secretly removed all the lightbulbs while The Beatles weren’t looking.

Why did he do this?

Eleanor Rigby

Love You To

Only A Northern Song

When I’m 64

Strawberry Fields Forever

And Your Bird Can Sing

Side D: (it’s one of those albums)

I don’t have a clue.

Even though Candlestick Park was nearly a month after Revolver was released, the Beatles never performed anything from Revolver live. Why?

I don’t typically give out the right answers on this thread, but to hell with it, I’m going to give you guys the honest answer instead of the preferred wrong answer, I’m sorry if you don’t want to hear the truth, it’s not like I have to lie, so here’s the truth, no joke.

The Beatles 1966 US tour was not to promote their Revolver album, but rather their Yesterday And Today album, a common misconception among Beatles fans. As for why they didn’t play certain songs off that album, here’s an analysis:

Yesterday_WEB_Today_ThirdState_HA_89275.jpgImage Enlarger

Side A:

1. Drive My Car

Paul plays lead guitar, that’s the only good reason I could think of, this song would’ve been a great opener.

2. I’m Only Sleeping

Reversed guitar solo that would be impossible to reproduce live.

3. Nowhere Man

They did.

4. Doctor Robert

Not sure, they could’ve easily played this song live.

5. Yesterday

They did.

6. Act Naturally

They did on their last tour, for unknown reasons they switched Ringo’s song back to I Wanna Be Your Man .

Side B:

1. And Your Bird Can Sing

This song requires 3 guitars.

2. If I Needed Someone

They did.

3. We Can Work It Out

They did on their December 1965 UK tour, but for unknown reasons dropped from this tour’s setlist.

4. What Goes On

Same as Act Naturally .

5. Day Tripper

They did.

Why did Ringo Starr spontaneously combust while playing Helter Skelter during their 1975 reunion performance at the Royal Albert Hall?

If you're reading this, you are looking for something to do.

The Beatles 1966 US tour was not to promote their Revolver album, but rather their Yesterday And Today album, a common misconception among Beatles fans.

They used the same setlist as on the tour of Germany, Japan and the Philippians and they weren’t promoting ‘Yesterday and Today’ for those shows. The most simple reason is they couldn’t be bothered rehearsing new songs, the music was getting more difficult to produce on stage to their own standards so they didn’t see the point of spending time on doing so.

Why would they choose to promote an album that had been out for 6 weeks over one that had been out for 4 days?

…anyways, Ringo did not spontaneously combust but spontaneously COMPOST. He was wearing a suit made entirely of hemp and suddenly became a huge pile of fresh soil! Just like that!

What is the instrumental lineup for “Abbey Road “‘s title track?

GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.

Abbey Road was such a great song, the first instrumental title track on a non instrumental rock album, the instrumentation is as follows:

John Lennon : Gibson acoustic guitar, teeth brushing, belching, flatulence, walking

Paul McCartney : Piano, teeth brushing, shaving, handclaps, yelling, drinking whiskey, eating popcorn, walking

George Harrison : Gibson Les Paul, using a public restroom, eating Burger King, walking, dancing, jumping up and down, talking to fans

Ringo Starr : Tambourine, walking, scratching his moustache

Mal Evans: Using a public restroom, setting up equipment, walking, offering The Beatles a cup of tea

Neil Aspinall: Setting up equipment, walking, handclaps, offering The Beatles some toast

George Martin: Punching the wall, sipping a cup of tea

Joe: Talking to George Harrison

Ron Nasty: Talking to George Harrison , sipping a cup of tea

Yoko Ono: Screaming, yelling, shouting, blowing out people’s eardrums

Various others: Walking, using a public restroom, talking to George Harrison

How long was this song?

It was 8 minutes 22 seconds.

Were there any songs on Abbey Road that you can hear Paul laughing in?

Of course, there’s the song Paul’s Laughing, which at 23:37, takes over the entire E side of the album.

Why are The Beatles so obsessed with putting 8 tracks on their grilled cheese sandwiches.

The inside tapes were actually made of liquorice, and the Beatles were unusually fond of liquorice sandwiches a-hard-days-night-paul-4

What other weird food combinations that doubled as studio equipment did the Beatles like to eat?

Fish and potato chips, they often recorded their master tapes onto potato chips.

Why did they do this?

It’s a little known recording fact that potato chips* make the very best master tapes, due to their durability and excellent potato flavour. They can also be destroyed handily by eating them, to save them from being stolen and bootlegged.

What solo Beatle film featured the purported stealing and eating of master tapes as a plot centrepiece? What actually happened to the tapes?

*Dark Overlord, are you referring to American chips or British chips?

I was referring to these type of chips.

00028400010702_full.jpgImage Enlarger

If I were referring to British chips, I would’ve just said fish and chips, I said potato chips to specify that I didn’t mean fries.

Carrying on:

Oh yeah, you mean Give My Hofner Back, You No Good a-hard-days-night-john-7. It was released in December 1968, 2 months after Paul got fired from The Beatles. It was about blue-meanie stealing the master tapes to The Beatles new album, ironically titled F***, We Lost The Tapes. In the end, we find out Paul was the person in the blue meanie suit and he ate the tapes because The Beatles fired him.

Why did The Beatles fire Paul?

The Beatles fired Paul after he threatened to quit after they threatened to throw him out after he threatened to walk out after they decided to get rid of him after he decided to take his leave after they asked him to leave after he asked them if he could leave.

Why did they change their minds and re-hire him?

Because when you are in The Beatles, the best lounge and exotica music band in the world ever you could do things like that. You could change your mind a lot and stuff.
