They looked for America everywhere, checked all their front and back pockets, but still couldn’t find it. They’d just decided to ask Mal Evans to take a run out to the limo to see if America had been left in the glove compartment or the trunk, when, on a hunch, he removed the sofa cushions and discovered America had fallen down in behind them. Brian Epstein was then recruited to reach down and retrieve the fallen America, as he had the smallest hands of the bunch (didn’t need them for playing guitars or drums, understand.)
