His drum kit.

When you listen to the isolated vocals on Flying , what surprise can you hear that you can’t hear in the final mix?

Ringo saying to Mal “so seven down: 9 letters – _ a _t _ _ _ _ r”. Annoyingly we never got the answer.

Which film did the Beatles go to see during recording the song “Birthday “?

The promotional film for Hey Jude , with the sound muted. They all had fun lip-synching to themselves lip-synching.

What similarities have critics found between the Sgt Pepper album and The Wizard Of Oz?

The line “Thou and I shall see him dine when we bear them thither” made him giggle.

What was George’s favorite Christmas Carol and why?

Santa Go F*** Yourself because his name is mentioned 7 times in the 18:25 song, including his favorite line that is said by the drummer right before the guitar solo (this is one of those Christmas carols with instruments involved, in this case, 2 electric guitars, a bass, a drum set, and a Hammond Organ) “Grab that Lucy and play a solo that is second best only to Something “.

Why did Pete Best sing lead on their cover of the 1958 classic Lollipop for the Long Tall Sally EP.

Cos he blackmailed the others into letting him sing so that he could get out of playing drums, saying he couldn’t very well play and sing simultaneously. It was all a ploy to disguise his atrocious drumming skills-or-lack-thereof.

To whom is ‘Ballad Of Sir Frankie Crisp’ dedicated?

Was Paul ever jealous of Stu?

Yes, because Stuart’s name could be conveniently shortened to ‘Stu’, and in attempting such a feat with Paul’s name, only ‘Pa’ could be made, in which Paul was not. This angered Paul deeply until people gave him the nickname ‘Macca’ (a shortening of his surname). Paul was now filled with so much joy that he forgot Stu even existed, and thus Stu had to leave the band due to lack of acknowledgement.

Which respective songs were the first that John, Paul and George learned to play on the guitar and when did they learn them?

They didn’t learn the songs, they just created them on the fly.

What was Paul’s reaction after listening to Phil Spector’s orchestral arrangment in “Please Don’t Bring Your Banjo Back”?
