Kreen and Akrore. OK, maybe they were words only Paul understood…unless you live in the Amazon.

How did John, Paul, George and Stuart meet Pete Best?

His house. This inspired not only the death of the evil witch in ‘The Wizard Of O’ but also the coffee brand Maxwell House.

Appropriately enough if you drink that coffee you will die as its so revolting – that however has not been confirmed if it was deliberate of not.

If you must ask, it was Pete Best. Apparently, the Threetles got so high on acid after Ringo walked out of the session that when Pete walked in (sending his chance because he saw Ringo walk out in a right strop, as he stalked them), they thought he was Ringo, and let him drum!

Paul… Stu made provisions for his departure from the band.

(Being pedantic for the sake of it, Stu had a giant Hofner bass, not a Fender Precision bass like that’n)

Paul’s good looks intimidated him and George just laughed.

Why did Richy and George not have middle names?

Why did Richy and George not have middle names?

Trick question: They did, but the names were stolen, along with a lot of equipment, in 1964.

What is Richy Starkey’s preferred spelling for his real name?

Why does James Paul McCartney go by his middle name?

I'm Necko.  I'm like Ringo except I wear necklaces.

The Walrus. This led John, in later years, after the Walrus’s death, to believe that he (John) had inherited the position, hence his song ‘I Am The Walrus ‘. In actual point of fact, the old Walrus had bequeathed his title to Paul… hence John’s later revision, saying, ‘I told you about the Walrus and me, yeah, you know that we’re as close as can be, yeah, well here’s another clue for you all– the Walrus was Paul’. Past tense, because by the time it was written, Paul had already died and was replaced… but we know that story.
