They ate it.
(For some reason, I mis-read the above post as ‘when they had finished eating’ at first.)
When and why did George not take up slide guitar?

After he decided to shelve the project, and then came back to it… he took it down, singing ‘Let It Down , let it allll down’. The reason is that he couldn’t play slide guitar if the guitar was hanging on the wall… so he had to take it down.
Did George’s slide guitar technique owe anything to children’s playsets?
(As you can see, I am determined to milk this slide guitar topic for all it’s worth.)

No since he never took it up.
Why did George include slide guitars as part of a complete breakfast?

To help the food slide down his throat.
If George didn’t play all those slide guitar parts on his records, than who did?

“Help !” cried George “I’m nowhere, man if my fingers keep sliding all over the place!” A deep voice answered: “Hey George, let it be, Iook in my direction” George looked up: it was Slidey McSlide The Phantom Slide Player of Bexhill On Sea. His prayers were answered.

Believe it or not, George Harrison– but because he feared that people would think ill of him for liking best the Beatle who shared his name, he hid his partiality. So well, in fact, that for years, Harrison thought Martin favoured Paul.
How many times does a Beatles trivia question have to be asked in this thread before it gets the correct answer?

Well, when Zig runs out of pictures of people with long mustaches to answer “Who was the walrus?.” When that day comes, the question’s been asked enough times.

Would you have wanted to go back? I’d have never set foot in the country again.

Well I’m not sure what was worse, going to Manila and rejecting the Beatles or just rejecting the Beatles but the painful memory of rejecting the Beatles in Manila meant they couldn’t go back. And it was just toast and jam.
How much did George know without going anywhere?
