It Was All Me Not The Other Three was published in 1980. Paul took credit for everything except dying in 1966 and having a “supposedly massive ego.” George responded by publishing I Me Mine , named after a song he wrote about ego. Ironically, his book had little to do with ego and was mostly a book of guitar tabs, mixed with the occasional bit about Hinduism.
How did Ringo respond to all of this?

Little known fact: It was actually written as ‘The Pool On The Hill’.
But Paul could not read his own handwriting when recording began and was too embarrassed to correct his mistake in front of the others.

Adam’s Video Store, 9th Avenue, New York City – 27th February 1980 (note the date adds up to 9).
By sheer coincidence John was in picking up his reserved copy of ‘The Jerk’ (he had links being John Lennon ), Paul was returning ‘Star Wars’, George was browsing and Ringo had stumbled in thinking it was Adam’s Liquor Store on 5th Avenue hoping to get some beers before heading back into the studio.
