Trick question: Nowhere, because the song was written by Leiber and Stoller, not Paul.

I never said Paul was going there cos he wrote it. I just said he was going there. a-hard-days-night-paul-11

What controversial comment did John Lennon make in 1966?

He claimed that coffee was becoming more popular than tea in England. The English themselves cared little about this statement, because it really didn’t matter if he was wrong or right, but when the news crossed the pond, the Americans were outraged, as it wholly spoilt the Hollywood image of English nobility taking tea and all that rot.

When did John claim that ‘the Beatles are bigger than Jesus’?

Burundi. They actually did have a concert date scheduled, but it was cancelled in the aftermath of controversy when Ringo said “we are bigger than  Prince Ntare V”.

Ilford – as everything was black and white in those days

When did The Beatles start to use colour film?

That depends which Beatle you’re talking about.  As color film had been invented before any of them were born, though, I’d have to imagine that each one’s first color film was pretty early in their respective lives.

Who did the artwork for the Revolver album?

A very talented, highly respected (by me at least) artist who was quite intimately acquainted with the four lads during their Hamburg days. His name was

Stuart Sutcliffe stuart-sutcliffe

What type of gun does Revolver refer to?

One that revolves.

Before the Beatles decided on the name Abbey Road , what was the album originally intended to be named?

Bognor Regis as the merry lads used to spend a lot of time skinny dipping in those parts.

The postman’s. He was waiting for the girls hair to arrive in the post as she’d lost it in a car crash.

She wore a wig you see and another was being delivered in the mail.

Which animals in Disney’s The Jungle Book were the Beatles asked to voice but turned down? Why did they decline the parts?

Ringo had to as a contractual obligation until the film came out and he could live elsewhere. He later said he’d learnt his lesson and Octopuses Garden was his apology to all the marine life he’d annoyed.

Words are flying out like rain, but what’s the cup got to do with anything?

Flying words can be dangerous.  The cup is worn for extra protection in case the silver spoon is not enough.

Why didn’t the Beatles fire their prop man?  His attendance record during Sing Along Time was rather poor.

They couldn’t be bothered. George even wrote a song about it.

What was the name of George Harrison ‘s first lyrical composition which begged listeners not to bother him?
