It was actually an album that was never released titled All Hallows Drive. It was named after a little known street in Speke, not far from where the Harrisons once lived. By this time, the vibe among the band was so acrimonious that no one showed up for the cover art photo shoot. It’s just a picture of an empty street with nobody crossing it. On the upside, Ringo wrote enough songs to fill side two of the album.

Why did John inhale sharply on the song ‘Girl’?

So that nearly 50 years later, one Beatlemaniac by the name of @Ahhh Girl could take it for her username on a forum devoted to the Beatles. a-hard-days-night-john-1

Accounting for inflation, how much is a ten bob note worth in today’s money?

EDIT: TO SG’s QUESTION: B. It was so hard they couldn’t make faces or even think of a cover so they left it blank.

What did Stuart sell that allowed him enough money to buy a bass guitar?

Half a curly wurly eaten by George – sold for £23.

A chicken drumstick owned by Pete Best – sold for £12.

And John’s left hip – sold for £34.

How high did girls scream at Beatles concerts?

All the way up to the cheaper seats.

George Martin once likened the screaming to the noise generated by what type of vehicle?

Banana bread.

‘Nana bread… all this fame has gotten to my head, if it keeps up I will soon be dead. Oh how I long for banana bread.’

John thought it was a hoot; George Martin did not.

Who was George Martin, and what was he to the Beatles?

They renovated the living room into a pond for their newly adopted pet fish Geoffrey.

What did Ringo learn to play whilst the other Beatles were working on tracks for what became Sgt Pepper ?

The drums. Previously, he had let Paul do all the drumming. When they played live, he only moved his hands because no one could hear them anyway.

What type of fan reaction were the Beatles’ concerts famous for?

Three. A vote was held in April 1971 between John, Paul, George and Ringo and the number of Beatles was settled as three.

How many miles is The Long And Winding Road exactly?

George was sued for plagiarism because his hit single ‘My Sweet Lord ‘ too closely resembled what song?

…no more, no less. I mean, what’s up with all this ‘Fifth Beatle’ stuff anyway? Five is right out!

How many miles is The Long And Winding Road exactly?

No one knows exactly... only that it’s Long, Long, Long

Yoko Ono was which Beatle’s second wife?

‘Sweet, My Lord?’. A 1961 Peter Sellers comedy song where a jester asks the king if he would like a mint humbug and is rewarded with a new hat.

She wasnt. Yoko refused to marry which as his name wasn’t capitalised and whilst getting her clothes removed by people cutting them off was art, not having the name spelt with a capital letter was just too weird and out there.

Name the first official Parlophone Beatles album in the UK not to reach number 1.

Across Ringo’s Universe – you don’t want to know, @meanmistermustard  .

How many Beatles were ambidextrous?
