"Please don't bring your banjo back, I know where it's been.. I wasn't hardly gone a day, when it became the scene.. Banjos! Banjos! All the time, I can't forget that tune.. and if I ever see another banjo, I'm going out and buy a big balloon!"

I could quote this letter in full, but sticking to the specifics, it was “Britain’s involvement in the Nigeria-Biafra thing”, “our support of America in Vietnam” and “Cold Turkey slipping down the charts”.
As an aside, the medal was located in the Royal Chancery, along with the letter, in 2009.
What was the first club The Beatles played in Hamburg?

Star Club? Lol I was gonna answer with All-Star Club for a second there.
Afraid not. The Star Club was the fourth and last of the Hamburg clubs they played.

It would be between John and George. John had three half-sisters – Victoria (given up for adoption), Julia and Jacqueline; while George had one sister and two brothers – Louise, Harry and Peter. I would award it to George purely because John probably never knew anything about Victoria at any time in his life.
2nd most covered Beatles song? Something .

@Starr Shine? and @IveJustSeenAFaceo you both got my question wrong! And with me giving away the answer in another thread earlier!
First song recorded by The Beatles by a record company for possible release (excluding those recorded with Tony Sheridan) would have been either Ain’t She Sweet or Cry for a Shadow (impossible to know just which was the first of the two) while the last was I Me Mine .

Stuart was a member of The Beatles at a time when they were called The Beatles. I asked who was the oldest Beatle, I did not ask who was the oldest of the group signed to Parlophone. Stuart counts.
The best-selling single worldwide was I Want To Hold Your Hand while in the UK it was She Loves You.
