Coronavirus blah blah you know all this. A large proportion of the world are in lockdown, including (for the game’s purposes) The Beatles in the 1960’s!
Which house will you choose to stay in? Who will get on your nerves? Wait a second do I like Alistair Taylor or not? All questions that will come into your mind during this game!! Remember you could be in this house for 6 months so choose wisely!
Have fun and don’t forget to explain why you picked the house you picked!

House 1 – This would be an enjoyable, fairly relaxed experience. Cynthia seemed ‘nice and normal’ and could be ‘mother’, George could keep us entertained and teach us all how to play the ukulele, Neil could organise our daily activities and hopefully, Allen would keep to himself plotting to make his next million dollars while in lockdown, so we wouldn’t see him much!
House 2 – It might be a bit tense being locked in the same house as Paul and Yoko. Paul would be great at leading the singing around the open fire, until Yoko joined in! I’m sure Derek would keep us entertained with stories about other pop stars. Hunter would probably keep an account of our ‘life in lockdown’!
House 3 – This would be an interesting house. Magic Alex would try to invent things to make our stay more pleasant, but none of them would work! The Fool would probably just stick together coming up with elaborate designs, which would be stuck up all over the walls. John would start off really enthusiastic, writing songs, telling stories, singing songs and baking bread, but would get bored very quickly and withdraw into his shell and spend most time sleeping. Maureen would be a quiet, girl next door, but could keep everybody’s hair trimmed, unless it was late 60s and we all had our hair long!
House 4 – This would be a great house … Ringo and Pete Best in the same room! Pete would be bashing away on the saucepans making an almighty din, saying, ‘look, I am a better drummer’! Allan Williams would send us all to the furthest away rooms in the house, for months on end! I think we would all just stare at Patti all day!
House 5 – This would be a bit uncomfortable. Stuart and Astrid would would look super cool but would be all lovey dovey! Mal would be great at fixing things, but Phil would be a bit wierd and controlling!
House 6 – This room would be a bit strict and boring, well until Billy got everyone up singing gospel music!
My choice? Room 3, because it has John in it, though I’d imagine the experience would have plenty of highs and lows, but I would have shared a house with John Lennon for a few months!

I’d be half tempted to go for house 6 – Brian, Billy and George sounds great, and Alistair could be fun too though I don’t know all that much about him.
You know what? I will.

House 1 – Would be ok when George could be bothered interacting with everyone, the rest of the time it would be quiet and trying to avoid Allen Klein.
House 2 – I’d be evicted within the first day having locked Yoko in the bathroom due to constantly interrupting Paul when he was singing. Very wrong to do.
House 3 – Would be brilliant with John but Alex and The Fool would irritate me and I doubt I’d even realise Maureen was about.
House 4 – Would be great to live with Ringo but I’d spend the entire time winding Pete Best up by asking a question then ignoring the answer and going to Ringo.
House 5 – Would be fun being around Astrid, Stu and Patti but Phil Spector!!! I’d be hiding in the bathroom after accidentally pissing Spector off so much with seconds.
House 6 – Seems the most dull. George Martin waffling on, Brian would be very quiet and go and do things on his own leaving only really Billy to hang out with.
On that basis, I’d go for George and House 1. I can live with the occasional interaction with Klein and I think George would be able to keep him in check most of the time. I also think it would be cool living with Neil and Cynth as it would never be too serious. Just never mention the Beatles until George does.

House 1 is kind of tempting– I would love to spend time with George, and I think Cynthia would be sweet and kind. Neil would be kind of cool to hang out with, too. The only dealbreaker would be Klein. But I feel like I could ignore him pretty well. House 2 is tempting as well– spending time with Paul would be lovely, but I don’t know if after a while I would get sick of being around a Gemini for so long or not…..though I wouldn’t mind being with Derek and Hunter, they seem like pretty neutral, nice fellas. I wouldn’t mind Yoko, either– it would be kind of tense what with Paul there, but I think he’d get over it in a couple of hours, and I could discuss art with Yoko and maybe have some weird but interesting conversations. Hmmm….the only really attractive quality of House 3 is John. I hate Magic Alex so I’d avoid him as much as possible, and the house would be more crowded because the Fool is like two people– but I guess I could discuss art and paint with them and they could teach me how to make clothes I guess? Maureen would probably be sweet and nice though. House 4– pretty indifferent when it comes to Allan Williams, I’d probably be too intimidated by Pattie’s beauty to talk to her, Ringo would be funny and kind of fun to hang around with though, but Pete Best I feel would just make things too awkward. House 5– while I do love Stu and Astrid a lot, I don’t think I could be in a house with a couple. Instant pass. For House 6, I feel like I could vibe a little with Billy, though Brian and George might make things a bit strict for my liking hmmmmm…..and I don’t know that much about Alistair Taylor……
So, looking at all this I think that I would just want to spend time in House 1 with George Cynthia I think could make nice conversation and we could be gal pals, George and I could play songs together and chat and watch Monty Python, Neil would be a cool guy, and Klein I could put up with and basically ignore him mostly.

House 1 seems to be the most popular so far, and I can see why…
because I would like to stay in House 1 as well. It would be the house most likely to leave me alone most of the time, so I could just ignore everyone else save a few occasions when I could fart around the garden with George. (Normally, I’d think spending six months with a Pisces would probably result in accidental manslaughter, but we both like plants so it’s fine.)

Can you imagine the fight for the piano in House 6? George Martin and Billy Preston would be swinging at one another. Brian would have locked himself in the bathroom taking Valium and rubbing his temples, wishing everything was over and Alistair Taylor would be writing everything that is happening down to publish exactly what happened and who said what.

House 2, you can lock Yoko in a room somewhere, get Hunter to interview Derek, and completely innocently bake a cake with Paul.

^ You can read me like an open book, ASJ. Remember, Paul stayed in my room in the BB house for (___ days — well, we won’t say exactly how long) so I know we could get along for the duration of this quarantine.

House 1: No one will convince me to stay with Allan Klein, unfortunately. I’m sure the guy has nice qualities, but at the it is, I’m not keen in the slightest.
House 2: 60’s era Paul and Yoko together in lockdown in the same house? No way
House 3: I don’t trust Magic Alex with my money, unfortunately. Savile Row convinced me so. Not to keen on both John and the Fool preaching to me during the lockdown either.
House 4: Will be plenty awkward with both Ringo and Pete. Will try to avoid at all costs.
House 5: All four of them seem pretty cool.
House 6: Three of them are pretty cool. Much like what ASJ said above, I have no clue on what to think of Taylor. I’m sure he’s a decent guy, though.
In conclusion, I’d only be willing to spend my lockdown with Houses 5 and 6. None of the fab four, unfortunately.

House 1: Every day, we meditate and tend to the garden, then before bed have a ukulele singalong with George! The four of us manage to convince Allen Klein to put some of his money towards ordering nice things for the house from the catalogue.
House 2: Paul, Yoko and I work on an avant-garde project chock full of (…let’s say) vocal experiments and tape loops that symbolises our feelings being inside. Sadly, Derek can’t do any promoting in lockdown, but I’ll agree with alittlebitolder, he could tell us great stories about The Beach Boys , The Byrds, Nilsson etc. Hunter Thompson helps us write some words about the project’s development that Derek can give to the art exhibitions when we come out of lockdown.
House 3: I’d help The Fool paint the walls of the house and strike up some interesting conversations with John and Mo. We’d be a right humorous and arty bunch. Like everyone else though, I don’t know about Magic Alex. Maybe he can make some nice hanging lights to put around the place but I don’t know what else.
House 4: With Allan Williams as our manager, Ringo and Pete and I try forming a percussion trio of household objects, or maybe Ringo and Pete as percussionists and myself on acoustic guitar. And yeah, after we’re done recording demos, I get to stare at hang out with Pattie for the rest of the day.
House 5: I think I’d mostly just stick with Stu and Astrid making art and taking pictures, but also get Mal involved to unleash his artistic side. Spector I would love to sit and discuss production techniques with but also just hope he won’t flip out or have a gun.
House 6: Perfect for Billy and I to become a duo! We have a studio in the basement and our producer, manager and a diarist all at hand. The only problem is I can imagine quite the few disagreements in this house as well, being stuck around each other all the time.

I put in Phil Spector in with the danger being you get lovey-dovey Stu and Astrid who will probably be ‘that couple’ in the corner with eyes only for each other, Mal for the giggles, tea and sympathy and Phil Spector with a gun waving it around the room.

Oooh in that case I’ve decided that I’ll be in that house. If our boy Phil starts waving a gun around the room, I’ll just very un-wave-ly point mine at him back until he surrenders his weapon, so I can lock up all the firearms for good and save everyone else!
(the thought of anyone carelessly waving a gun around the room gives me visceral shudders of horror )

Never do that unless you’re willing to fire and don’t fire unless you’re aiming to kill
Not sure the other three will want to be in the house with you after killing somebody, so you’ll probably end up kicked out or locked in a closet

If he did something threatening to me or the others, I would. I wouldn’t have to kill him necessarily. If I shot him and it was lethal, it would be a s**t situation for sure, but I think it would be better than him going on a rampage and shooting randomly and killing or injuring everyone in the house. Best-case scenario, he sees reason at Revolverpoint, puts down his gun, and no one gets hurt.

House one seems like it would be super chill and a good environment.
House two is very attractive to me because it has Paul, but it also has Yoko. I’m not mad keen on her, but she still seems like she’d be a fun person to have conversations with.
House three looks like it would be a party house. We would have so much fun together doing drugs and talking about the vast intricacies of life. I don’t do drugs, though, so I could either be mostly sober around a bunch of not sober people (not preferable), or I could do drugs with them and take the gamble of either having fun or having a mental breakdown. Quarantine would be a pretty good time to test what my brain and body can handle.
House four seems like it would be uncomfortable with both Pete and Richy.
House five has Mal, but that’s the only person that interests me there. Also Stu died before a lot of these other people came into their story so I would be sharing the house with a dead person which sounds scary.
House six is mostly old people and I’d be the only girl so that’s a pass.
This is a tough decision for me. House three just looks like so much fun, but I’m gonna have to go with house two because Paul.

If you shoot somebody swinging around a gun threatening you with it, your shot needs to be lethal or else the one they fire next might be. A gunshot does not always incapacitate the person right away. It could do the opposite of what you expect and give them a rush of adrenaline which masks their pain.
