That’s a brilliant suggestion, SB. Great song!
I think the lyric is “lazy lights” rather than “laser lights”. Unfortunately, the song is not included in either Blackbird Singing: Poems and Lyrics 1965-1999 or The Lyrics: 1956 to the Present – but it sounds like that to me, and these three main references all give “lazy lights”:

The Back Seat Of My Car
I noticed that a YouTube poster has uploaded some videos of Ringo and his band playing in Eugene, Oregon three days ago. Lovely to see them playing outdoors with two of my favourites, Octopus’s Garden and It Don’t Come Easy. Also nice to see Hamish Stuart in the band; I think he is one of the best to have accompanied Paul in earlier years.

Oh-oh I always thought he was referring to the nightly light show on the front of The Mexican Presidential Palace. I sort of remembered this episode having to do with aliens. I took a peek at an episode list and there is one she is in called From Venus With Love. So perhaps the McCartney III song The Kiss of Venus (She scored a bullseye in the early morning glow).

Yes, that’s the song, @sigh butterfly!
The picture shows the episode From Venus with Love, first broadcast in 1967: Several astronomers have been found dead, their hair bleached white. All of them had been looking directly at Venus immediately beforehand – which heralds an invasion by the Venusians, according to members of the British Venusian Society. Steed and Peel soon uncover a scheme involving lasers and a treacherous eye-surgeon Dr. Primble.
The Prisoner and The Avengers are two of my favourite TV series from this era.

That’s crazy, I do remember that one! In my way back hazy memory, I was thinking the bleached hair folks were the aliens . I was into the Avengers as well, but don’t recall too much after Diana left the show. I haven’t found a good Man From UNCLE image yet, so lets try this one.

Remember
Light My Fire by The Doors
“Remember, remember, the fifth of November”
I think Series 4–5 (1965–1967) of The Avengers featuring Diana Rigg as Emma Peel was the most memorable period. Linda Thorson playing Tara King in Series 6 was quite impressive too, but Diana was always going to be a hard act to follow.
Here’s a great version of Frankenstein with a remarkable drum solo at 7:48:

Nobody Told Me
“Strange days indeed”
The Doors second studio album is Strange Days, and it opens with the song called Strange Days.
I edited my post in the ‘Name The Beatles (as a group – not solo) song that goes with this picture’ thread rather than use up another post. Hopefully, I have the appropriate song – it all seems to fit in well with the picture and your hints.

I’m Stepping Out
* I’m Stepping Out With A Memory Tonight is a song peformed by Kate Smith, and released as a single.
* In 1969, after Jim Morrison’s arrest in Miami for indecent exposure, Kate Smith performed with The Lettermen, Anita Bryant, and Jackie Gleason in a concert demonstration against indecency, for which President Richard Nixon commended the stars’ performances.

Nobody Loves You (When You’re Down And Out)
* John’s song on his Walls And Bridges album
* Nobody Knows You When You’re Down And Out was a popular song for Bessie Smith, nicknamed “The Empress of the Blues”
* The title of either song could be applied to Jim Morrison

I always thought Peter Tork (Monkees) played banjo on the Wonderwall track Drilling A Home. I checked it out before posting and it appears that George went with another player. So, maybe…I believe that is a Barbary Ape. A troop of them famously lives on the “rock as good as Gibraltar” (Wreck Of The Hesperus)
