Starting to fill in nicely now. Only five words of the fourteen left to complete.
Will anyone get the recording…
(What does happen if every letter is filled in and no-one’s got it? Does it go to whoever gets the last letter even if they don’t know the source?)

Either that or the hangman puzzle’s setter (i.e. you this time) goes again?

It is a weird one, as I don’t think we’ve got down to just four letters to get before. I did say I’d gone for something tricky for this one…
I’ll just say there are two acceptable answers: one a Beatles recording session, and the other – what I have in mind – a post-Beatles recording, with the line taken from Joe’s article on that recording.

It’s not from a Christmas record, @Shamrock Womlbs, though it is from the session for a song where chat was recorded in case there was something that could be used on a Christmas record. That recording session has been officially used by The Beatles, but never fully released – but a favourite bootleg item.

That’s the line, @Shamrock Womlbs, but one of the two sources are needed… Beatles recording (bootleg) or post-Beatles use (official release).

That works, @Shamrock Womlbs.
The official release is on the Liverpool Sound Collage album credited to Paul McCartney , The Beatles, Super Furry Animals and Youth.
It appears at 6:55 on the opening track, Plastic Beetle, which used a lot from the Think For Yourself session:
McCartney’s own Revolution 9 …
