Okay I figured out that the game I was talking about Holey was this one https://www.beatlesbible.com/f…..a/page-51/
What I misremembered was that this was the Paul/Julian game so you guys didn’t actually know each other, and it wasn’t John/Yoko, so the part with you fighting was more of an ironic coincidence. So that point I made no longer applies.

Offline (sidebar) you know what would be a crazy set of rules? what if everyone were power biscuit? that would be an insane game. everyone would think the others would be making false claims, nobody could trust anybody, dogs and cats living together mass hysteria!

Offline there was a game sort of like that. Everyone except Yoko was a cracknel except the cracknel’s were different in ability. One would see everyone as yoko, another would see everyone as a biscuit, another would see biscuits as yokos and yokos as biscuits, and the last would be normal. Nobody knew which one they were, they just knew they were a cracknel. it was interesting, but also kind of easy to solve because it just required being good at deductive reasoning.

role claiming day 1 generally is a terrible strategy, and this post is sort of trying to encourage it. It dosen’t really help town to just claim roles, only claim when you’re going to get voted out, so it gives the scum as little information as possible while still saving the town power roles

This just feels nitpicky to me, like trying to find something to latch on to and scumread someone else for. idk

Offline I can see that. The thing that seems weird to me is instantly trusting Fiddy to get to victory. Yes he’s done it before, but it’s generally not good to assume that just because it worked one game it will work this game.

I’m not sure what you’re even saying in the first sentence. However, you’ve once again said I’m suspicious without giving any reasoning whatsoever, even after being called out for doing this.
Okay at this point I suspect you enough that you’re either john/yoko or the kind of person that would be kept around to bring more confusion between suspects later on.

well, the game would instantly end in a town win if there were no mafia
a closed setup means the players don’t know what roles there are. I trust her to have balanced the setup though.

Offline Would the John and Yoko know about the roles?
I assume the power biscuits would know about them as well… or do they just know about themselves?
What I’m trying to say is, would the Yoko know if there is a John? Would the High Energy know if there is a Cracknel? If the John and Yoko don’t know who each other are (is there even a John and Yoko? I’m still not quite clear on that…) how would they communicate at night and decide who to eat? Would they eat two people, or eat in turns, like the Paul/Julian game?

Offline For all we know there might not even be power roles. There is probably at least yoko, but idk about John.
Whatever the set up is we can’t rely on anything except our vote which means we definitely should vote the first day. At best nothing happens to anyone the first night, but at worst we’re just completely at the mercy of whoever john/yoko decide to kill.
