Can’t think of anymore Y songs of the top of my head…
I’m happy to start a round but I don’t know how hard it will be:
Beatles or solo songs one or more members expressed a dislike for (if that makes any sense)
an example so you know what I mean:
A – And Your Bird Can Sing (John called it “a horror” and “a throwaway”)
#AppleHoley2024: Make America Great For The First Time

This one might be more of a challenge but should make for many interesting thoughts and discussions. I look forward to seeing what people say.
I don’t have a B, but here might be another A:
Another Day – I’m guessing John did not think much of song based on his line in How Do You Sleep?:
The only thing you done was Yesterday
And since you’re gone you’re just Another Day .
You are all my friends.

Not exactly expressing a dislike for the song, but John was pretty dismissive of Being For The Benefit Of Mr Kite ! In 1970, he said:
I wrote that as a pure poetic job, to write a song sitting there. I had to write because it was time to write. And I had to write it quick because otherwise I wouldn’t have been on the album. So I had to knock off a few songs. I knocked off A Day In The Life , or my section of it, and whatever we were talking about, Mr Kite, or something like that. I was very paranoid in those days, I could hardly move.
And in the end
The love you take is equal to the love you make

With John saying ‘It’s a sort of teenage social-comment song and a bit of a joke’:

Dig A Pony , which John also described in 1980 as ‘another piece of rubbish’

Every Night – one my favourite Paul McCartney songs.
In 1970, John Lennon described the McCartney album as “rubbish”, so that’s effectively all of the following songs: The Lovely Linda , That Would Be Something , Valentine Day, Every Night , Hot As Sun, Glasses, Junk, Man We Was Lonely, Oo You, Momma Miss America, Teddy Boy , Singalong Junk, Maybe I’m Amazed , Kreen-Akrore.
George Harrison described Maybe I’m Amazed and That Would Be Something as “great”, but he said that the rest of the songs on the McCartney album “just don’t do much for me”.
And in the end
The love you take is equal to the love you make

F – Frank Sinatra’s Party
I’m guessing Paul didn’t like song enough to put in on the main Egypt Station album. It was a bonus track on a deluxe set.
This may not fit the original intention or concept of the category. But after several months of inactivity, I assume it’s ok to be more liberal with its interpretation. Perhaps we can include bonus tracks originally rejected or unreleased bootleg tracks. At least one Beatle did not like song for some reason at least..even if not stated in an interview.

All four Beatles seemed to not care for this track. They seemed lethargic working on song and gave up on it very quickly.

Jazz Street. Clearly deemed not good enough for release considering it lingered in the vaults for almost 40 years. It’s also a very boring track.

I see we’ve hit a dead end on the list of ‘J’ songs, given there are only 2 songs starting with ‘J’ and one outtake starting with ‘J’.
There are more than three tracks starting with ‘J’. ‘Julia ‘, ‘Junior’s Farm’, ‘Just Because ‘ (x2 with John and Paul singing different songs with the same title), ‘Jazz Street’, ‘Jealous Guy ‘, ‘Just For Today’ and no doubt others I’ve forgotten. The Beatles also riff ‘Just Fun’ during the ‘Get Back ‘ sessions. That’s my buttin’ in done for today.
Edit: ‘Junk’ which was demoed in ’68 and ignored till 1970 when Paul released it to national yawn on ‘McCartney’ and which was commented on above by Richard, so if ‘Jazz Street’ is invalid then ‘Junk’ is the ‘J’.

K – Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand – The Beatles were reluctant to record this, along with a translated version of She Loves You , for a German audience and rightly so. They’re both largely pointless.

I did not realize we are including solo Beatle works. My mistake.
‘M’ – “Mean Mr Mustard “. John described it as “a bit of crap I wrote in India” and “a piece of garbage”

N – Nowhere Man – I’m sure I’ve read comments from John dismissing this song, or perhaps the recording of it at least?

There isn’t a Q, so I’m moving on to the next letter.
R –Revolution 1 – Both Paul and George argued the track was too slow to be considered as a single.
