Songs (solo or Beatles) that mention animals
M:
I’m not sure whether “…Me and My Monkey” is acceptable, vonbontee, particularly as “Everybody’s Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey ” was already given by 50yearslate for the letter E.
Here are some other songs for M anyway:
Matchbox – dog, puppy
Monkey See – Monkey Do (by Ringo)
A Mouse Like Me (by Ringo)

O – Octopus’s Garden . (Octopus and Coral). Yes, coral is an animal biologically.
And this would be the correct spot for Ode to a Koala Bear. Don’t forget that the letter is for the song title, not the animal. I have to keep reminding myself too. For example, I almost put in cat, canary and cocker spaniel in the Cs for Bad Boy .

Definitely not acceptable, thanks & apologies! I wasn’t thinking of the actual rules. (Wasn’t trying to deliberately cheat by shortening the song title so it began with “M”, btw – I regularly refer to that song by that abbreviated title to save time.)
Sorry for interrupting gameplay twice. Carry on!

Hi TrickyMU, I deleted your post because your song title didn’t match the theme of this round of the game.

No X or Z songs I think. So I will finish this off with a Y
Y – Yer Blues (Eagle and Worm)
I hope this one will be fun and not too difficult. Same rules. More than one entry is ok. Also, retroactive additions are ok if you think of one later.
BEATLE OR SOLO SONGS THAT MENTION A NUMBER
A – A Day In The Life (4000 holes in Blackburn Lanchashire)
Across The Universe (which shines around me like a million suns)

Certainly, but “one” can be used quite widely – perhaps not always in a strictly numeric way. Let’s go for it anyway, so we have:
Anna (Go To Him) – (“Anna, just one more thing, girl”)
Also I’ve just thought of another ‘A’ list entry:
And Your Bird Can Sing – (“You say you’ve seen seven wonders and your bird is green”)
And in the end
The love you take is equal to the love you make

C:
Come Together (“one and one and one is three”)
Crippled Inside (“your cat has nine lives, nine lives to itself, but you’ve only got one”)
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes...

I thought of that too. But there may be tougher upcoming letters where using “one” liberally might come in handy. Til then:
E:
Eight Days A Week
Everybody’s Trying To Be My Baby (Before I got home I had 19 dates)
Another C:
Cry Baby Cry – (At twelve o’clock a meeting round the table…)
