Hmmm… the Abbey Road medley? Idk I guess it was on the forum poll ranking but is it fair to put seven songs against others? It will wipe out like five rounds before it even gets the possibility of getting defeated and we’re already voting for those tracks separately.
I thought about removing the medley and keeping the individual tracks or vice versa. Number one seeds should be a juggernaut, but I agree the medley may be a bit too much. Also i know that that picture is really hard to read and I apologize. The next round will be much clearer.
I mean, if you ask me, Golden Slumbers and You Never Give Me Your Money are jaggernauts on their own

Very exciting round. Polythene Pam and I’m Down both advanced on tiebreakers. We also see major hits such as Yesterday and Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds being eliminated in the first round.

Offline Not sure if it’s 64 or 128 tracks but can’t you substitute the next track down for the ‘Medley’ if it’s deemed unsuitable? Would it matter that much if it was a straight swap? Or reshuffle the numbers if you have the time.

Offline If I’m reading that ^ correctly, it means we get to repick a song that has been previously cut so that it has a second chance? If so Blackbird .
1. Strawberry Fields Forever – it was the forum’s favourite for a reason.
2. I Feel Fine – that guitar is iconic
5. We Can Work It Out – Really bloody difficult this one but we get the single version for GB so I’m holding out for that
6. Penny Lane – I don’t really like DR
7. Don’t Let Me Down – IOS has gorgeous harmonies but then again so does DLMD 😉
8. Here Comes The Sun – AYNIL is great but really sloppy, HCTS is great and beautiful- no contest <3

‘Lady Madonna ‘, ‘Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds ‘ or ‘Blackbird ‘? ‘Blackbird ‘. I voted for it the first time around and now the second.
Next Round
‘SFF’ – No contest.
‘IFF’ – Such a great track. The intro, Ringo’s beats to get the song back up and running. It’s my 15:55 alarm and I never tire of it.
‘CT’ – Really difficult to pick one over the other but ‘CT’ as, well, I don’t really know why, it just does.
‘IWTHYH’ – Iconic and rightly so. Holds up every time.
‘WCWIO’ – The driving nature of ‘Get Back makes it such a good song but ‘WCWIO’ is way above it.
‘DR’ – Arguably the weakest track on ‘Revolver ‘ but I’d rather listen to that than ‘PL’ which is just dull. John calls Robert Bob a handful of times and I like Paul’s harmonies a lot.
‘DLMD’ – One of my faves. John’s vocal, the harmonies, the track feel.
‘HCTS’ – ‘AYNIL’ is a very enjoyable song to listen to whenever it comes on but ‘HCTS’ is such a great relaxing refreshing number. A narrow win.

I presume they are the regular standard commercial versions as first released with distinctions made between the few variations where applicable (eg ‘Get Back ‘ single and album mixes). To be including any of the future alternates would only complicate matters.

1. Strawberry Fields Forever (yeah this was a pretty easy choice to make ~let me take you doooowwwwnnnn~)
2. I Feel Fine (*feedback* + iconic guitar + Ringo going ham + overall bop)
3. Come Together (a difficult choice. love PPM but CT wins out in the end)
4. I Want To Hold Your Hand (another hard bop– the song that won over America)
5. We Can Work It Out (*chef’s kiss*)
6. Penny Lane (not too partial to PL but I’ll take it over DR any day)
7. Don’t Let Me Down (this was a really really hard one because I love both songs– IOS has the cool backwards guitar and overall is just a cool song, but DLMD has those heartwrenching vocals so yeah gonna go with that)

Offline Let It Be , Get Back , and maybe Across The Universe have two unique versions in the bracket. I’m not sure if the single ATU made the cut, but for LIB there is a big seeding difference between the album and single. The Single has already been eliminated whereas the album version will probably go far. If the rest of the bracket is a success and people enjoy it, I would run a non-canon Bracket or even a solo-career bracket. This doesn’t have to be a one and done.
Tiebreaker: Here There And Everywhere
@Teddy Salad if there is a tie in the tiebreaker we’ll have to improvise. I think i’d probably remove my vote and revote with a smaller field, or add any new tiebreaker songs and do another voting round.
SSF – like mmm says its like picking between my favorite child and a bunch kf trash in the dumpster
I Feel Fine – Maybe the best guitar riff of all time
Please Please Me – I think Come Together is a great song but its way less exciting than PPM
Octopus Garden – Stellar guitar song plus having the harmonies through the leslie gives such an insane underwater effect
Get Back – Billy Preston RIPS on this song one of the greatest and breifest keyboard solos ever
Doctor Robert – I love the ‘well well well’ section. Blows me away every time
I’m Only Sleeping – This is easily the hardest choice for me so far. Both songs are so great for such different reasons. I’m going to have to go for the Revolver track, I’ve got great memories with it.
Here Comes The Sun – George is a straight up master of his craft, sneaking up on the rest of the band and banging out their most iconic song
