Am I stumping people here? 15 hours without a guess when there were so many before my last clue…
So, okay, I’ll add another…
Clues:
1. Not a Lennon/McCartney song
2. Nor were George or Ringo credited writers
3. First appearing on an archive album*, it now appears on two different albums in different versions
4. I haven’t said the song wasn’t credited to Lennon or McCartney, just that it wasn’t credited to both… There was a suggestion to add a Starkey to their writing credit, but nobody’s thought of subtracting one…

Junk
* credited to McCartney
* first appeared on the Anthology 3 album
* a different ‘Esher Demo’ version is now available on The Beatles (‘White’) album as one of 2018 50th Anniversary Box Set bonus tracks
And in the end
The love you take is equal to the love you make

That’s just what I was looking for, @50yearslate.
A very short bit of a Twickenham 1969 version appeared on Let It Be … Naked‘s Fly on the Wall disc, with the Esher demo appearing on last year’s WA re-issue.
Over to you.
