Bésame Mucho
Maybe not, because the song is from 1940, so it doesn’t quite fit the third hint.
Digressing a little, I would be very interested to know if there is a thread on the forum that lists (or discusses) the original date of Beatles’ cover songs. For example, Ain’t She Sweet must be one of the older songs, first published in 1927.
And in the end

There is a thread, @Richard, where I look at the versions of songs which were the versions covered by The Beatles (so for Ain’t She Sweet I look at the 1956 Gene Vincent version). I’ll point you to it when this round is done as I know the answer is among the songs I’ve so far commented on, and I ain’t pointing you to the answer.

September In The Rain , recorded during the Beatles’ Decca audition – and originally written for the 1937 film ‘Melody For Two’.

Also I think it’s important to add that we’re only doing songs from The Beatles’ official catalogue (the British albums, Magical Mystery Tour and Past Masters ), no solo careers or any of the extra stuff (Anthology, Live At The BBC , etc).
Does this rule still apply or nah?

That’s the song, @Richard. Over to you.
You might find this thread interesting. I really need to continue with what I was doing there, so thanks for the reminder.
Apart from still not allowing solo songs or songs only available on bootleg, @Little Piggy Dragonguy, that rule hasn’t been stuck to. Most games have had their rules tweaked after being played a bit.
Hopefully @Ahhh Girl will pop into the first post and make the necessary changes.
Thanks for pointing out the rules need an update.

As LPG pointed out, @Ahhh Girl, the first post ends:

We abandoned restricting it to the core catalogue a while ago, the “extra stuff” is allowed. If it’s been legally released it’s allowed. Solo careers are still not allowed though. So basically the same songs allowed in your picture game are allowed in this.
Thanks very much.
