This is actually a hard question for me to answer. If I think of a good answer, I'll edit this post. Besides the obvious: I didn't own any of their music.

Because we're all going to talk about not having the Beatles in our lives…. (hee hee)
If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

(My sisters were Beatle fans so some of my first memories are Beatle related)
Yeah, that's my problem with the question, too. My dad had a number of their albums when I was a kid, and I don't really remember a time when I hadn't known who they were. Their life stories, no, but I feel like I always knew OF them.

Haha, yeah. The first part sounds like the beginning of an infomercial. (Money that's what I want.) Before I know I couldn't imagine being “obsessed” with any one thing. Now I'm planning out my Beatle/music room.
Ad hoc, ad loc, and quid pro quo! So little time! So much to know!

The best answer so far in this thread because it's so true!! LOL!!!!
Mhhh I have to rethink in my answer. I don't have memories of childhood that are not related to the Beatles, but when I was a teen, I decided (like most teens) to expand my horizons and I became a huge Tears for Fears, and later U2 fan. The only Beatle connection in those days was Julian Lennon. And later, I became a big Pale 3 fan, (the guys who wrote Run Lola Run soundtrack, Tom Tykwer, Reinhold Heil, Johnny Klimek), and I became fan of soundtracks.
But the Beatles have always been there.
Here comes the sun….. Scoobie-doobie……
Something in the way she moves…..attracts me like a cauliflower…
Bop. Bop, cat bop. Go, Johnny, Go.
Beware of Darkness…

Why has no one told me this before?? I will surely do that and hope to John Lennon it works.
But if it doesn't, the calculator will need to start running for its life because I'm going to be upset.
Well we all shine on like the moon, the stars, and the sun.
