Social, Physical, Health Education to quote curriculumonline.ie

Social, Personal and Health Education (SPHE) in junior cycle education supports the personal development, health and well being of young people and helps them create and maintain supportive relationships. The aims of SPHE are to enable students to develop skills for self-fulfilment and living in communities, to promote self-esteem and self-confidence, to enable students to develop a framework for responsible decision-making, to provide opportunities for reflection and discussion and to promote physical, mental and emotional health and well-being.

It’s basically a doss and “let’s talk about sex and mental health” kind of class, loads of fun a-hard-days-night-george-10 And I agree Eggy SPLHCB should be a class and that is Brigitte Bardot now, to answer above questions ^^^

Cool, sounds very useful!

My Beatley moment today:  It was a coworker’s (a fellow Beatles fan) birthday today.  I had a CD in the stereo that had “Birthday ” on it, so I threw it on as we gave him his cake.  Then the two of us danced to it.  It was awesome.  a-hard-days-night-john-1

"Please don't bring your banjo back, I know where it's been..  I wasn't hardly gone a day, when it became the scene..  Banjos!  Banjos!  All the time, I can't forget that tune..  and if I ever see another banjo, I'm going out and buy a big balloon!"

I was in the studio again today recording Lulu and Mei Mei from “Ni Hao, Kai-Lan” as the lady who normally does her has left the station and is only doing live-action now so I’m doing her voice until a replacement can be found, so I was just going over my lines before we began recording and the lad who does Tolee walks in, he looks exactly like George it’s ridiculous! I’d worked with him before ages ago when I had a small part in Aifric (a live-action Irish show) but he had a big part (i.e more then the 4 lines I had a-hard-days-night-george-10 ) so naturally I started talking to him obviously (I broke up with my ex 2 months ago) and he’s really nice and funny I shall keep ye updated a-hard-days-night-john-1

On a better Beatley moment I got to sing Michelle in my French class (wayyy :D )

Lucky you :D I don’t know anyone who looks like anyone…. (don’t know if that makes any sense to anybody else).

The other day I was talking to one of my internet friends on facebook and he is a Beatles fan as well. He said, “I’m So Tired “. I replied “I haven’t slept a wink”. He said, “Only really its past your bedtime?”  “No, its a Beatles reference!”, I said.  I wrote the first few lines of the song to him. He said, “Oh darn, pop me in the head for that”, so I gave him a virtual pop in the head. a-hard-days-night-george-10

Update on  “the lad who looks like George”, his real name is Colm . So we were recording again today (one day left until I’m free i.e no work ’til at least September….hopefully) so we just finished today’s work when we (Colm and I) decided to go into the city (I had to get the train home). So he brought his guitar with him and we decided at 6.30pm it would be a good idea to start busking (for no apparent reason), an hour later we’d made about €60 (wayyy) and as I was walking to get the train, I said goodbye and I got the shift! a-hard-days-night-george-10 Good day me thinks ahdn_george_08

Proper Beatley moment of today: “Rain ” was on the radio today as the weather is absolutely awful here after having about 2 days of sunny weather

That’s great daww :)

And cheers Emmy ^^ we finished up recording today and I’m busy for exams in 3 weeks, then I’m gone abroad/away for about 3 months so I can’t see him or I won’t be near Galway. And even then I don’t know if we’ll ever be working together again as I was only a replacement voice and they record each show separately 🙁

Was watching a documentary about the relation between music and war/peace and of course John got mentioned a few times (the Beatles didn’t). Also, they were interviewing some guy and he had a huge Beatles poster on his wall.

Peter and Gordon’ A World Without Love played on the radio today, always reminds me of the Beatles even if they never actually performed the song. And of course I saw a beetle today.

I don’t understand wht the illusion is. That there are multiple drawings in one picture? I don’t think that’s really an illusion.

I only called it an illusion because it’s supposed to be one.

It’s an interesting drawing, anyway.

That wasn’t really aimed at you, more like the person who decided to call that an illusion. You can’t just call something an illusion because you want it to be one.

Pointless on the bbc had a beatle related question.

Name one of the 5 uk acts who have had 10 number 1’s or more. The answers were, in no order of most number #1’s: The Beatles (top answer with 42(! – as that it?) people saying it out of 100), Madonna, Elvis, Take That and Westlife. One pairing said The Rolling Stones but they have only had 8, the other pair went with Westlife which was the best answer.

My Beatle-friendly professor saw me with headphones on in our department’s computer lab yesterday, and asked me what I was listening to. I showed him I’d borrowed “Wingspan” and “Ecce Cor Meum ” from the library, and he smiled and said, “You’re tearin’ it up, girl!” heart

I saw an advert yesterday for Krystal’s, which for my northern US people its like a White Castle and for my outside US people its basically a tiny burger. Anyways, they had Happiness is a warm Krystal.

Yesterday , in my facebook news feed various Beatles pages had updates. It was bit weird. I see one or two a day, but yesterday I saw like 5 or more.
