I’m listening to a podcast with thenewno2 (Dhani Harrison’s band) and yer man keeps on saying Dhani’s name as Donny I don’t really mind if fans pronounce his name wrong but my sweet Lord this man just interviewed Dhani and he’s calling him Donny grrrrrr
I used to think it was pronounced “Donny,” but then I watched something where it said his name and I was like “Ohhhh…”
(Useless note: My grammar is horrible in that sentence.)

Dhani sounds sort of ticked off every time yer man says Donny. I had the same problem with pronouncing Dhani’s name I looked up the Indian music scale pronunciation and it should be something along the lines of “da-ha-ah-ni” I think Danny is just easier overall

While at work, the DJ on one of the Sirrus stations mentioned Paul’s tour coming up, and chuckled over the “Out There!” title. Then he said the only US date so far is Bonnaroo, and I thought, “No, there’s Boston too, pay attention.” Later they played “Helen Wheels,” which makes me think of the adorable video so I couldn’t help but smile.
As we wait for class to begin, my professor plays a different vinyl record, and today it’s the best of Earth, Wind and Fire, starting with “Got To Get You Into My Life .” He was amused that I’d grown up listening to the song and didn’t know it was a Beatles cover.

My math teacher choreographs color guard performances, and she showed us a video of one of the performances. The song was the Got To Get You Into My Life cover by Earth, Wind and Fire.
(Did I already say that somewhere else in this thread?)

Since I can’t wear my headphones and can’t be bothered to listen to my files on the computer, I decided to listen to the radio.
The Beatles got lots of air time, what surprised me is that Hey Jude wasn’t even edited out, it lasted the full staggering length and “Wrong chord! F*****g Hell!” wasn’t edited out.

Who says that and when?
From our own website…
“Hey Jude contains an unedited expletive, which is often played by radio stations to this day. In the final verse, John Lennon sang “Let her into” instead of “Let her under your skin”. His cry of “Oh!”, followed by “F*****g hell”, remains in the final mix.”
I believe it is just under 3 minutes into the song. Here is Joe’s full article on the song…https://www.beatlesbible.com/s…../hey-jude/
I had a Beatles Bibley Moment on Monday when I changed my Beatles calendar over to April (I never look at the photos before hand). This was the photo for April…
Sans the STAY ON TOPIC! text of course.
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

My little cousins were over and being the good cousin I am, I let them watch Barbie: Princess Charm School which was on the telly. I don’t know about you guys but at 0:08 I thought the lad who came into view and turned his head looks quite a bit like George (sorry about the crappy sound/video, it’s one of the few Barbie movies you can’t find on youtube ) My brother commented on the likeness as well and we spent the rest of the movie looking out for “George”

A lot of Beatley moments today
Today I was watching Jeopardy, which I don’t normally watch, but tonight I decided to watch the news and Jeopardy followed. During the Double Jeopardy, the first category was “Let It ‘B’ and Alex Trebek emphasize the ‘b’ a bit. Another category was “England Swings”. I don’t know if they do this often, but its cool if they do.
I was watching episode of Two and Half Men. Jake said “Money can’t buy her love”
Family Ties was on tv. The mother said “That reminds me of something John Lennon said.” “Who’s John Lennon ?”, said the youngest son. “Now I feel old”, said the father. “Hes one of The Beatles”, said the mother. “Whats The Beatles?”, said the youngest son. “Now I feel old”, said the youngest daughter First off all, the parents are suppose to be hippies. How the hell does your youngest child not know about The Beatles? Ok it was the mid 80s, but I grew up in the 90s and my mom was only 1 when they came to America and course I know who they are. Yea I know its a tv show, but anyways…Then the mother sings a cover of In My Life .
I look over at the computer few minutes later & I see this from a distance.
