I didn’t really know where to put this buuuuut..
My mom found some cd with random songs she compilated from before I was born or so.
When I came back from walking the dog, she asked me about a song she didn’t know and thought it was by Paul. I must admit that when I heard it, I thought it was Paul too. It was very bad quality. And I thought it was Paul because the song sounded so familiar, as if I had heard it before. So I started youtubing, but of course nothing came up as I could make out just a few words. So I started googling and Johns name came up. So I told her she was wrong with her Paul and Wings.
It sounded like a demoversion, and finally I found it on Youtube. Apparently it was some primitive demo version of Real Love . I KNEW I had heard it before! I just don’t have a clue how she got it, as she’s not even a fan or so.
It was pretty funny.

A version of Real Love , under the title of Girls and Boys , was included on the 1988 soundtrack album to the film “Imagine … John Lennon “, may be a possible source.

Not exactly a Beatles moment but last night I woke up and began hearing the intro to Paul’s Let ‘Em In. It would hear it being played successively, then it would pause for a bit, then repeat again for a number of times. I thought my head was playing tricks on me lol, must be really tired. Few seconds later I heard a rooster like the one in Good Morning Good Good Morning.

Same grocery store that played “Band On The Run ” and Earth, Wind & Fire’s version of “Got To Get You Into My Life ” was playing “Another Day ” this week. Whoever makes up the playlist is definitely a Paul fan.

This just in,
I was checking out new amplifiers for my turntable the man was surprised of how someone of my age would be interested on them *cough*audiophile*cough*. So I said because of The Beatles, and he simply replied “Oh I see”
On my way home I heard “I’ll Follow The Sun ” playing. It was the original version! And not some crappy cover. This was the first time I have heard the Beatles being played from a sound system other than mine.

Hello I’m new here, well posting wise.
Heres just one of my Beatley moments:
Today, I was frustrated at Geek Squad’s tech support and then my husband started to get on my nerves as well. At one point I said, “there you go, there you go” to which my husband said “There you go. Hiding behind a smoke screen of bourgeois clichés. I don’t go messing about with your earphones, do l?”
Stunned for a second I replied “spoiled sport”
Him: “Well?”
A shocked look came over his face and then he said, “Wow, I am becoming a Beatles fan. This has never happened to me before.” I just busted out laughing.

Just got back from one of those nostalgic classes where they talk about the 60’s, the people involved, the colours and etc. The topic was about Drugs and The Beatles got mentioned. John Lennon also had a special mention, along with his songs (I contributed a few lol)

Only just noticed the Beatles reference in ‘Morning Glory’ by Oasis.”Walking to the sound of my favorite tune
Tomorrow Never Knows what it doesn’t know too soon”.
That is nothing compared to the Beatles refferances in “Be Here Now”
To begin with, on the back cover and on the actual CD there’s a little box with the phrase “HELTER SKELTER” written on it. And there’s a refferance in almost every song of the album! I’ll try to list them below (although I think there is a relevan topic in this forum):
Track 1: D’ You Know What I Mean:
The blood on the trax must be mine
The Fool On The Hill and I feel fine
Track 2: My Big Mouth
I got something in my shoe… it’s keeping me from walking
The Long And Winding Road … back home to you
Track 7: Fade In-Out
So get on the helter skelter
Track 9: Be Here Now
Sing a song for me, one from let it be
Track 11: It’s Getting Better (Man!!)
Say something, shout it from the rooftops of your head (I think it’s a refferance to the rooftop concert but it maybe not. Also, he title of the song doesn’t seem kind of familliar to you?)
Sont des mots qui vont très bien ensemble.

Ok, so in class today, the teacher brought up somebody January 1943 right, and then I said “So, he’s as old as George Harrison ” and the teacher said “Well how old is George Harrison ” then I said “bout 23 days younger than my grandma” then she said a little more anoyed “Well how old is your grandma” then I said finally “I just told you 23 days older than George Harrison “. I have a felling I’m in study hall Tuesday but it’s worth it to mention
I also I have done others like on a paper I wrote Ringo of Fire instead of Ring of Fire and when I was typing out George H. Bush I typed Geroge Harrison and the library teacher came over that second to see it.

like I just said, it’s unhealthy

That’s definitely not what I posted.. Let’s try this again.
For my English final I had to write an essay on something I believed, and my belief was myself. So, the last sentence of my essay was “I just believe in me, this I believe, and that’s reality.” Also, I wrote something about having been reborn and the title of my essay was “I’m the Greatest.”

Not really a moment, but on the page of the Sgt. Pepper booklet where it has the cut-outs/other stuff numbered and identified, Paul is number 64.
