There's this really nice 50's/60's diner where I live and I walked in there once and Lady Madonna was playing, yes, I did sing and dance. I can hear a Beatles song from miles away, I swear I have a 6th Beatle sense. Anyone else who thinks they have a 6th Beatle sense?
While out to dinner the other night, the restaurant was playing music softly over their speaker system. Through the din of other diners and our own conversation, I heard the opening chods to Macca’s Jet . My head popped up like a deer hearing a twig snap.
Does that count?
That totally counts! The weirdest one happened when I was in Cardiff in a card shop and Paul and Michael Jackson came on. It was 'The Girl Is Mine'. So embarassing how mid way through the song they just start having a conversation. Not my favourite Paul song to say the least.

Had my last day of school before Christmas today. Convinced my tutor to play Christmas Time (Is Here Again) (and Killing In The Name- she played the explicit), someone else convinced her to play Happy Xmas, and we had a game of “picture clues”. This was one of the questions, in a “singers” round:
I get the last clues but not the first two. Stripes and burger?

Answer spoiler:
The burger is a big mac.
Have never liked the Paul/Michael Jackson collaborations. Say, Say, Say is a terrible song.
Ebony And Ivory (the Stevie Wonder duet) is also not that good, Paul's solo version is far better (im off on a tangent).

Yesterday , I got Hailey (my new best friend who's playing Columbia in Rocky Horror) a stuffed animal, a bracelet, and a Beatles 45 with a t-shirt for Christmas. She almost started crying she was so excited 🙂
Good Dog Nigel. Arf, Arf, he goes, a merry sight. Our little hairy friend. Arf, Arf, upon the lampost bright, arfing around the bend. Nice dog! Goo boy, waggie tail and beg. Clever Nigel, jump for joy
Because we're putting you to sleep at three of the clock, Nigel.

Important question to ask.
Ali, what beatles 45?
Here in the US, Target stores are selling 45's with T-shirts included. Unless they have added more, the singles are Can't Buy Me Love/You Can't Do That, Hello Goodbye /I Am The Walrus , Help !/I'm Down and Let It Be /You Know My Name (Look Up The Number).
Not to be left out, they are apparently now available on eBay…

Isnt Ding Dong more a new year song what with all that 'ring out the old ring in the new'? Tho you never hear it at New Year either. You also never hear any Ringo christmas song and what about the beatles 1996 Christmas Time (Is Here Again)?!! Not that i have any interest in hearing Ringos christmas songs.
There was a really neat moment in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation where Grissom (who is so awesome) has a live beetle in a jar and says “I don't want to hear anymore 'Paul is Dead' rumours”. I the internet, i had forgotten the exact quote (because i couldnt find this damn thread at time!!) and it was online. Plus found a link for a site that has a list of Beatles references on The Simpsons
And how hard is it to type out ring and beetle and not ringo or beatle?

That would be perfect! Could you imagine that. Ha ha. I just said imagine. I'm quoting John songs without even knowing.

Please say what 45 you got her! If I give my friend a 45, she'd probably think it's a frisbee.

Well, today I found out there’s a fifth grader at my school named George Harrison .

"What happens to them?" insisted Milo.
"Oddly enough, they often grow ten times the size of everyone else," said Alec thoughtfully, "and I’ve heard that they walk among the stars."

Shut up! No way! There's a kid in my school called Paul and someone called George but that's as close it's going to get. That's so awesome! I'm definitely calling my kid George. Middle name can be Harrison.

AND one of the parishioners at my church is named Cynthia Powell. It's a regular Beatlefest around here!

I'm Julia like the song and my best friend is Lucy (in the sky).
However, I think little George Harrison has the coolest and most Beatley of all our names.
