While shopping today I walked past two girls, one of them was looking at a Beatles top. Their conversation was roughly as follows:
Girl 1: This is nice.
Girl 2: Are you saying that 'cause you like The Beatles or 'cause you like the top?
Girl 1: I listen to The Beatles!
Girl 2: Name 5 of their songs.
I didn't hear the response as I was too far away, but seeing them both walk away a few moments later makes me think she couldn't name 5 songs.
I think it's great you're going through a phase,
and I'm awfully glad it'll all be over in a couple

More tv moments.
The Simpsons had Paul’s Another Day playing at the beginning of the episode ‘Bart Gets A Z’ when Mrs Krabappel is waking up and getting ready for her day of teaching. She eventually turns it off after getting ridiculed for singing along in her car to a really old song. You can see it here.

I was at the mall yesterday, and I saw this girl wearing this :
And after that, once I walked into a supermarket, I saw a guy wearing this:
Did I tell you that there was this car with a Beatles sticker on it?
Oh, and in the beginning of the year at school camp, there was this girl with this bag:
She literally had all the Beatle badges in the world pasted on it. We both freaked after finding out that we were both Beatle fans. Figured. And her favourite is George. I'm jealous of her room, too.

I was watching Doctor Who earlier today, and there was a scene where they had to answer questions to get past a series of doors to access the engine controls to stop the ship from crashing into the sun. One of the questions was “Who had more number one hits, Elvis or The Beatles?” They also, of course, had to make a Here Comes The Sun joke.

I presume they got the answer correct and didnt die being burnt to a crisp.
For anyone who hasnt seen it here is a clip of Doctor Who which has our very own Beatles performing/miming Ticket To Ride on Top Of The Pops from 1965 (for some reason it appears that all clips on youtube have been removed). The BBC in their great wisdom erased this top of the pops performance, along with many other Beatles stuff, from their archives which makes this brief clip extra rare.

"Now and then, though, someone does begin to grow differently. Instead of down, his feet grow up toward the sky. But we do our best to discourage awkward things like that."
"What happens to them?" insisted Milo.
"Oddly enough, they often grow ten times the size of everyone else," said Alec thoughtfully, "and I’ve heard that they walk among the stars."

I was a doctor who fan but i got bored with the whole 'he's going to die' when we know full well that he doesnt, one reason being matt smith, the actor who plays him, is still playing the doctor at christmas. Admitedly they make it that he does die but overall he doesnt because something incredible always happens to save him.
Same with Torchwood and Captain Jack.
Anyway i gave up.
Plus The Beatles wouldnt let him join. He would never be reliable for turning up at concerts.

I dunno if it's a Beatley moment, but I'll post it here anyway.
My mp3 player is broken, so I'm listening to music in my cellphone. It's a pain to create playlists so sometimes I just choose all the songs in alphabetic order. So, yesterday, I uploaded into the cellphone the album Plastic Ono Band, and I was listening to this song.
And then this one came up next.
It was like George responding John jajajaja

I can't stand it.
“Here Comes The Sun ” and “Let it be” came on while I was out shopping. But… they were both covers

Well, it's gonna be hard to listen the original songs on a store. I think they also have to pay royalties and when it comes to the Beatles.. those are not that cheap.
Am I right?

Both right, I guess.
At least the other day I was at the Museum and Hey Jude and All You Need Is Love came on.
The originals, mind you.

Not a True Beatley Moment, but hearing this Dennis Potvin clip last night (talking about the best defenceman of all time) was great:
It’s like the music industry. There’s the Beatles, and everyone else. Bobby {Orr, great Boston Defenceman} was the Beatle; we were all everyone else.
Don, thanks for playing it!

I was on the TV Tropes “Cue the Sun” page (I’d link to it, but then you’d go on a Wiki Walk), and the page quote was the first verse of “Here Comes The Sun .”
If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

That is one awesome (and true) quote!
