I was in a record store today in Glasgow which was playing Yoko’s music. No idea what the songs or CD were but it was clearly and definitely Yoko – and it wasn’t johnandyoko, so not ‘Double Fantasy ‘ or such as it was four or five tracks and no John.

Offline On my travels found a ‘Rubber Soul ‘ canvas for £10 which I bought. For some reason the exact same kind of canvas was also on sale for £20 which I didn’t buy, just asked for the £10 and left. ‘RS’ is one of my favourite images ever as the foursome just look incredible.
Would love to find a ‘BFS’ canvas at the same price (not paying more than that) as the contrast between the two is very stark as in that they just look exhausted. Love both covers.

Offline On Chrimbo Eve, getting into the spirit of the season, I was slumped in front of the googlebox watching an episode of Criminal Minds called The Performer, girls being murdered in a vampire style who are fans of a singer who has a vampire image (turns out to be the manager manipulating a fan to kill in order for publicity), beer in one hand, joint in the other, possibly…
Anyway, gets to the end scene, which as any fan of the show will know, often ends with a conversation on their plane as the BAU head back to Washington, and this was the plane conversation:
Emily Prentiss: It never ceases to amaze me how dark obsession can get.
David Rossi: And with a pop star? I mean, I was obsessed with the Rat Pack, but I wouldn’t have killed for Frank or Dean.
Aaron Hotchner: No, you just drank whiskey and smoked cigars.
David Rossi: Oh, and this coming from the man whose favorite record is the Beatles’ ‘White Album ‘.
Aaron Hotchner: Just because Manson hijacked it doesn’t have to ruin it for the rest of us.
Dr. Spencer Reid: That’s why I stick to Beethoven. There’s no chance of guilt by association.
Emily Prentiss: Well, yeah? Have you ever seen a movie called “A Clockwork Orange”?

Offline 2 Beatle Moments for me this past week:
1.) on December 23rd I unsealed my advendcalendar selfmade by my girlfriend and unpacked a FunkoPop John Lennon !! OMG I wanted one of these for so long! YES
Now when does Funko release a full Beatles set (not the Yellow Submarine one) with all Fab Four lads. Maybe make it a 2 figure set with 2 Fabs in each set. Would be awesome!
2.) My gfs christmas gift: Concert tickets for “All You Need Is Love – The Beatles Musical with original band from Las Vegas” on January 6st in my town. I CAN’T WAIT! My second time I see it. First was in January of 2020!

Offline Well. It was my 36th Birthday (December 31st) and me and girfriend visited her family in cologne New Years Eve (she went a week earlier then me because she was off work). My girl and her family gifted me something I wanted badly but didnt expect AT ALL!!
A real Höfner Violin Bass! 
its of the less expensive series which doesnt mean it to be cheap! 
IT IS BEAUTIFUL! I honesty love this instrument and need to unpack some old guitar skills and learn to play it!! As a right hand I of course have a right hander edition!
This was such a Beatles moment for me. My gf told me that when she bought it in a music store in cologne when she visited her family the employee told her that now she can do it like Paul McCartney . This is just
