@Rube
WOW! Great report and pictures. Makes me want to go to Liverpool NOW!
You’ve visited some of the sights I definatly want to visit too. I really cant wait to go there.
I’ve just seen a video on Instagram about a Beatles Shop in Liverpool where you can get so much Beatles Clothes. It was not the Beatles Story shop. Does anyone have an idea what shop that was?

Thank you @KyleKartan.
I think it’s the Hard Day’s Night shop in Mathew Street, although I have never been in there.
There is also a Beatles shop in Mathew Street which sell some items from the 60s and has been around since 1983. I have not been there, but I have walked past it.

Yes. I think the post said Mathew Street. Sounds familiar to me. The shop looked like I could get broke entering it 😉

The Beatles Shop, which is the longest running in Liverpool, is at 31 Mathew Street.
The Hard Days Night Shop is on the corner at 1 Mathew Street, and isn’t exclusively Beatles.

Hey guys.
I was at the Beatles Museum in Halle (Saale) this week on Tuesday. It was a great experience. I LOVED it there. So many amazing and great Fab Four Collectibles. You even could play Beatles Rockband.
Its a private museum/collection, stashed over 3 floors. Floor 1 contains Beatles 57 to 70. Floor 2 has them during their solo years. Floor 3 is about the 90s and more recent years.
Me and girl had a good time and spent 2 hours there. I explained much to her without needing to read the descriptions. She isnt into Beatles as much but had fun. We even made a quiz and won a little sticker. And I got myself a Sgt. Pepper Coffee mug. Great Beatles Moment. I really felt home.

Here come some pics, just a few. I took 130.

Someone asked me what I believe in. What a general question. I replied with “I just believe in me.” I don’t care what they think of the response, or even if they understand it, which is unlikely. I like the reference and it pleases me. Take it or leave it.

On BBC Scotland there is a programme with Natasha Raskin Sharp every Thursday and a couple of weeks ago she played one of the most most unexpected Beatles related songs I can think of; I could spend a week naming Beatles and solo tracks and would never come up with it. George’s ‘So Sad’ off ‘Dark Horse ‘ (you can hear the show here). Who on earth plays that? I can probably think of about 5 or 6 George songs you’ll hear on the radio. Tho most of the tracks played on Natasha’s show are very obscure.
For those looking for other links, immediately before she plays ‘Mary Jane’s Last Dance’ by Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers and namechecks The Travelling Wilbury’s connection.
For those who have never heard it, I present ‘So Sad’.
