I enjoyed the Six Pence Pub in Savannah, Georgia, so much that I bought one of their t-shirts. I just wore it this past weekend.
Cool! It’s a great restaurant. 
The Blowing Rock one has a painting of the Savannah location on the wall. I would like to go to Savannah and see it for myself.

Offline So I’m on holiday in a fairly rural part of Victoria, and my dad and I go into a pub for dinner (a craft brewery, to be fair) and we turn around and stare gobsmacked at each other as we walked into the middle of Martha My Dear …
And then I’m So Tired came on. Then Blackbird … and so the White Album went on until it was unceremoniously turned off in the middle of EGSTHEMAMM for the band to start playing some fairly bland blues tunes…

Offline The beginning of Paul’s Dance ‘Til We’re High makes a great ringtone.
I can’t have just one song be my wake up alarm song. Also, I have to have multiple ones. And, I can’t know which one I’m picking that night to play the next morning. If I play the same one each day, my brain learns to sleep through it. And if I know which one is coming, I play the song all night in my head and keep thinking that it’s time to get up.

Offline I had kind of a beatley moment yesterday when my wife and kids were about to go visiting my wife’s parents (who live just a block away from ours). I was not going so
as they were about to leave, my son (almost 3 years old) was not very sure about what to do: stay home with dad, or go with mom.
We explained to him that he could stay if he wanted to and mommy would return later and everything would be ok, or he could leave with mommy and then return later and daddy would be right there and everything would be ok too.
He was struggling, and we could see it. Finally decided to stay with daddy (:D) but as soon as his mom started closing the door he ran crying towards her.
He, finally, left with his mom only after giving daddy a huge hug and a long, long kiss n_n
It was kinda tender and heartbreaking all at once. Reminded me of little John deciding to stay with Alfred or going with Julia .
