A couple days ago two of my close friends went to a Beatles tribute band concert together and they loved it. One is already a fan, while the other hadn’t listened to them much before, other than what he’d heard on the radio and she’d shown him. But today, he told me he is becoming obsessed with them (The real Beatles not the cover band) ! 
I can’t imagine he’ll become a Forumpudlian though, he doesn’t really use the internet much.

I was driving today, and had Happiness Is A Warm Gun playing on the sound system. “When I hold you, in my arms..” That part came on, and I looked to the left and saw a mother holding a child.
@Timothy that’s so funny, I was listening to HIAWG earlier and I happened to exclaim, ‘Shoot!’* because some mishap occurred, right round the time the backing vocals were saying ‘baaang baaang shooot shooooot‘. 
*a common expression of mild vexation in my lexicon — it’s kind of a Southern euphemistic thing I think, to avoid saying something worse

Offline I was stuck in traffic yesterday, and the car next to me was playing I Want To Hold Your Hand . I was playing Savoy Truffle , and I’m pretty sure the other person was pretty freaked out…

Offline I’m in a general music discussion group on Facebook, which I mostly use to get recommendations. There’s rarely any serious Beatles discourse in there, because posts about them often just get hijacked by people who think it makes them edgy to call them overrated. So when I saw a post this morning simply asking people to name their favourite Beatles songs, I didn’t have high hopes, but I was pleasantly surprised by people talking in great detail how great and innovative they were.

They showed a video the other day on announcements thanking the staff for helping everyone. They played Help in the background, and I was actually a little optimistic about the fate of the world until they said it was called “Help Me” in the credits.
Oh, I hate when that happens. Although it could be worse– I once heard it called “Help Me Get My Feet Back On The Ground.”
