This may be more of an airhead moment, actually.
So, this morning I'm driving to work. I'm going over some notes in my head for a business meeting I had to attend. All the while, I'm listening to Ringo's “best of” CD.
While half-listening to the songs, I'm thinking things like…
“There's George's guitar on this song.”
“Yep, that's John's backing vocal on this song.”
“Oh yeah, Macca sang on this one.”
“Gee, that sounds like Ringo on the dru…you idiot.”

But isn't it sweet to notice how the other Beatles colaborated in Ringo's albums? It always warms my heart

We were playing a game in Spanish to review irregular preterite (past tense) verbs. We had to roll a die that had a small die inside a larger, clear die. The inside die determined subject (I, you, he, etc.) and the outside die determined verb (to do, to give, to be, etc.). During the game, I rolled “she” and “to say.” My next roll was “I” and “to say.”
It's funny how everyone looks at you when you randomly start singing/laughing in the middle of class.
(John must be communicating with me. I got a 9!)

Did you “wake up to the sound of music”?

I thought this was going to be an I Me Mine reference and instead it was a She Said She Said reference. Even better! (IMO)
Beatley moment: right after I typed that, I Me Mine started playing on the iPod! All right, all right, George. Your song is better.

That reminds me of something funny. Once I was eating lunch with my friend Charmly (not real name) and she told me that she had Think For Yourself stuck in her head, and I replied that I had I Me Mine stuck in my head too. Suddenly, we both realized they were both George songs and we looked up at the same time and said,”…George.” It was hilarious. XD

Great story. How far into the song did you get before stopping?

Double post and I don't care – 2 Beatley moments today
1 – It's a glorious Spring day in Maine (about damned time). Today was the first day all year I was able to take my morning walk without preparing for the Iditarod. I could not decide what to listen to, so I pulled up my “All 13 Albums” playlist, spun the wheel on the iPod without looking and hit Play. The next thing I heard was the opening strings to Pepperland . I never enjoyed those pieces of music as much as I enjoyed them today. It was an awesome walk – ya hadda be there.
2 – At lunch, I decided to hole up in an empty cubicle in our office and eat lunch while listening to tunes and working a NY Times Crossword. I kept getting stuck trying to come up with a 3-letter word for 'Terrif'. I kept thinking, “That’s not how you spell tariff, so the answer can't be 'tax'.” Then, when the letters from other answers fell into place, I realized that 'Terrif' was actually short for 'Terrific'. The answer was a 3-letter word for Fabulous. That's what I get for overthinking. Stupid NY Times.

Nah, the “I Me Mine ” references are when we talk about first person and third person in English.

Okay this is a Doctor Who and Beatles moment. My friend Pam is a huge Doctor Who fan so I found this lovely picture at the bottom of the post and we shared a moment of looking at something that was completely awesome. Maine sounds a bit like Indiana right now. We had a wonderful day today, compared to all the rain we've had the past 2 weeks.

I don’t know why that didn’t occur to me before … I always hate when I just shuffle through my entire Beatles collection and I get a lot of duplicate songs over the course of an afternoon. Derp derp, maybe I should just do this!
And the Pepperland track playing on a sunny spring morning would make me want to skip merrily through the forest or something!
