Sometimes with games like that I go searching for The Beatles card and I’m not happy until I find it.

Oh my gosh yes. Once we were in a vacation house and there was a cabinet full of old board games. There was this one game where it gave a song lyric and you had to name the song and the artist and I went through every single card and ended up with three Beatles songs and one solo John song. My brother thought I was insane. a-hard-days-night-john-6

Last night we went to my aunt and uncle’s house for Hanukkah and my dad got this book called “Where Are The Beatles?” It’s like Where’s Waldo but instead of looking for Waldo you look for the Beatles. There are also several Beatles people hidden in each scene, like Yoko, Pattie, Linda, Eric Clapton, the Maharishi, Ravi Shankar, and others.

A few months ago in English we had to make an “album” of songs that “represented us as people” and the teacher put them up on the wall. Today I was helping the teacher take them down (as one of the only people in the class tall enough to remove the top staples) and I was reading the songs and I counted five Beatles songs and one John song, which made me very happy. I believe they were Imagine , Here Comes The Sun , Help , Yellow Submarine , Let It Be , and Good Morning Good Morning (although the person wrote the title as “Good Morning” which kind of annoyed me, but oh well!)

Okay so I was just sitting here in French class pretending to do my study guide and browsing the Beatles Bible when my teacher started playing Michelle . Yes, Michelle . In French class.

Sont les mots qui bon tres bien ensemble!

I am very happy now.

Except the song just ended, so now I am sad.

@Bjway eek another Yellow Submarine fan! Love ur profile picture, man! I should stay-on-topic , so a Beatley moment I had was when I turned on the radio at my friends house, and Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds was playing. My friends was playing Minecraft on her PC at the moment, and I could tell she was listening to the lyrics of the song. A few minutes later, I asked her what she was doing. She showed me her screen, and I saw that she had built a massive statue of a girl with kaleidoscope eyes with diamond blocks surrounding it.

One of my friends, who is not Beatles in any way shape or form, who has watched Yellow Submarine and called it “weird” and “disturbing” (shocking! monstrous!) just randomly began to sing I Am The Walrus .

I think I am in shock.

(Also, if you got the above reference, you are my new favorite person.)

Watching BBC Breakfast. Outside the studio they have a military band parading. It’s revealed when they cut back to the studio that the band were silent because they’re not allowed to play until 7 o’clock (this is around 6:15). Sports presenter Sally Nugent asks if they’ll be taking requests. Main presenter Dan Walker jokes that of course they will, and what would she like. With a big grin she says, “Beatles medley, of course.”

That’s awesome! I have literally never heard a Beatles song on any radio other than the Beatles channel. a-hard-days-night-paul-10

And for the sake of staying on topic, I had Hey Bulldog in my head during all 2 hours and 15 minutes of my math final, which made it so much more bearable. ahdn_ringo_09
