On Friday nights, Zag & I like to put on some music, have a cocktail or 5 and “discuss all the vast intricacies of life”. This past Friday she asked, “So what will it be tonight? Beatles?” To which I replied “Thanks, but we always listen to what I like. Why don't you pick something.”
She chose the U2 movie, Rattle & Hum. It had been a while since we watched it, so we laughed our butts off when the first song came on.
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

LOL!! When I read that your wife chose Rattle and Hum I was like “Ohhhh no she didn it” LOL!!!
I love that version. I tore my Rattle and Hum Beta video when I was a teen. My favorite moment is when he screams “and I see you again”, the lights turn on and all the crowd cheers. Love it.

Offline Sorry for the double post. I had a Beatley Moment today (too bad I forgot my cellphone to take a pic of it)
I go walking near a lagoon in my city, and sometimes you see turtles over there, but sadly, the water is way too polluted. We always joke that those turtles should have 3 eyes. Anyway, I was listening to Rain and there was this huge turtle taking the sun when it looked at the water and then it looked up like saying “Oh well….”. In that moment John sang “Rain … I don't mind” I laughed so hard because it was as if the turtle had thought “Polluted water… I don't mind” LOL!!
Here comes the sun….. Scoobie-doobie……

They played Good Day Sunshine at the end of GTV (our morning announcements that are given like a newscast. They play songs at the end of each episode) I think it was mainly to make us mad because it is far from sunny outside right now. Very rainy and cold a lot lately.

Maybe they were playing it to give you hope, then! Although I think “Here Comes The Sun ” would be more appropriate if that were the case.

Offline In band we had a sub last week, and when he started up the class he said,”Good morning, good morning!” and I sat there like :D. It may have been on purpose, I recently borrowed Anthology from a different school to read, and he subbed my science class and gave me a thumbs up for reading it, but it probably wasn’t.

Offline Sorry my friend, but they're in Chicago tomorrow and we normally do much much better on our home turf. So unfortunately your little Vancouver team will have to fight for their lives on Tuesday. Especially with Luongo in the net, man has he sucked these past three games. (It's odd though, his birthday is the same as my mom, just 20 years later.)
BOT it was a cover weekend on our oldies station and I heard a cover of “Baby It's You”. Just it wasn't The Beatles version.
