Offline In the town where I used to live one store has started selling Beatles records.
As soon as I move you can go into a store and buy Beatles LP’s.

[I asked the guy serving for permission to take the photos. He said it was fine but thought it a bit odd.]

It’s the commonly available vinyl LP which you can easily purchase online, in many good record stores and select newsagents and possibly elsewhere. It’s Scotland not 1968 (anyone who makes the joke will be hunted down and stuffed with haggis and intoxicated until unconscious with whisky whilst the bagpipes play).

I also didn’t mention Irn Bru or deep fried Mars Bars. We’ll use that to kill anyone off if they survive the haggis and whisky torture.
I have two copies of the 3 copies of the EP, two on vinyl. All three were bought in Scotland.

Offline I’d much rather have a true Scotsman shove haggis and whisky down my throat until I’m unconscious while playing bagpipes loudly than have a politically correct 300 pound person who only listens to rap music and just ate a pot of baked beans sit on me.
If you have 3 Magical Mystery Tour EP’s but only 2 of them are on vinyl, does that mean that the other one is on CD.

Yes. In mono and in stereo. So technically it’s four but it came as one. It’s fully official and has the EP booklet and everything.

Offline Two Beatley moments that are probably a bit far-fetched:
I was sitting on the bus opposite a woman that talked on the phone in a language I was not able to identify. Suddenly, in the middle of all the meaningless sounds (meaningless for me) she said ‘I Want To Hold Your Hand ‘. Just that, very loudly and clearly and then she spoke in her language again and got off the bus the next station.
As I passed a hairdresser, I noticed that the model in the shop window had a hairdo that looked surprisingly similar to a moptop. Then, I read the slogan underneath and it said ‘ Wanna look Fab?’ What an ingenious ad, I’ll never visit another hairdresser as long as I live in this city.

Offline Today at breakfast in the hotel, the music was playing pretty softly, but Helen Wheels came on and instantly when it started playing, my ears caught it and I started mouthing the words. When I asked my table if they could hear it, they couldn’t because the music was too soft. I figured that my senses were just amplified for Beatlely things.
